Portuguese Pronouns

In this lesson we'll be talking about Portuguese pronouns. Don't go! It's not as scary as it sounds! Pronouns make our lives easier. In fact, they are simply words that replace nouns. These are words in English like me, you, mine, yours, hers, ours, etc… words you use all the time.

For example, you could say someone's name, or you could just use the English pronoun, he – ele in Portuguese, instead. See how much easier that makes things? In English there are actually more pronouns that in Portuguese, so you don't have as many words to memorize. Let's get started!
