Rocket French — Greendale, Wisconsin , United States
I've just started using the program but so far I am very pleased. I'll be able to critique it better once I move further along in the course.
Are you likely to buy again is one star because I only want the French course, so I won't be purchasing another, and Customer Service is one star because I've had no contact with anyone. So the one stars are not an indication of anything bad. I have found the course enjoyable and I am looking forward to learning French. I also am fortunate to have a friend who is a native French speaker to guide me along the way.

I have started learning from Rocket Language's German course. I have compared with other courses and the way Rocket German systematically takes you through the journey is truly remarkable. You can test the trail versions and you will surely will fall in love with course.
Rocket French — Dhaka , Bangladesh
it's a very helpful attempt for the people who are interested to learn French...
I've learnt few sentences as um very new learner. if anyone continuously practice with rocket language apps, it will be easier to learn the language. thank you.
Rocket Japanese — Woodbridge, Virginia , United States
I am on my third day of learning Japanese, and so far I am very satisfied with Rocket languages. Before I bought it I researched the best software for learning Japanese, and this was at the top of many lists. I am confident that I will become fluent in Japanese through Rocket Languages! If i were to say something constructive, it would be that I wish there was a written version of the audio lesson underneath each recording. I like to take notes while listening, and being about to visually see the lesson would make that easier.
Rocket Spanish — United States
The approach is highly conducive to remembering, and surpassing, knowledge gained from studying Spanish many years ago: the stress on speaking is critical. I've just finished lesson 3.1, and have to say I have only two peeves, one tiny, one larger. The tiny one: the instructors distinguish lentos (regular glasses) from gafas (sunglasses). This is a distinction I have never heard in Mexico: my Mexican friends always use gafas for glasses.
Rocket Chinese — Canada
I initially loved the course because I used it in my mobile driving back and forth to work.
But once I got to level 3 I found the explanation of the dialogue to be very lacking. Essentially it required me to sit down in front of a computer. It was no longer a course I could do while driving.

Very nice interface with many opportunities to record yourself and play back to compare with the native speaker. I've enjoyed learning from the conversations, and also being able to practice participating in the conversations (playing the role of one person, then the other). The app for iPhone and iPad works well overall but has a few glitches with the voice recording function -- sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The web browser interface for Google Chrome works perfectly. I am looking forward to continuing on in my lessons as I've only started module 2.
Rocket Japanese — Australia
I like how the course gives you instant ability to say full sentences, and doesn't just focus on vocabulary or grammar separately. Everything is integrated. The phrases are also very relevant and useful. I also enjoy the mix of culture and language that is taught.
There are some aspects of the course that I don't find as useful, such as the 'Write It' and 'Flashcard' components, only because I don't feel they are benefiting me and I feel they are sort of tedious and a chore. I like the quizzes and the ability to practice saying the phrases in the 'Know It' section.
Rocket German — Co. Kildare , Ireland
I've only just started my course and am on module 1. However I am really enjoying it and find the course much better than a short course I did recently. I find it a much better course for teaching modern conversational German. As the previous one was more academic. I would prefer if the mobile app was tweaked so that the screen remained always on and not slept while being used in the car. That aside I can highly recommend the course however.
Rocket French — Luxembourg
I'm almost finished with Module two in french and so far I really like it. It's a good mix of audio lessons where you get a feel for how to use the language and the language lessons which teacher more grammar etc. I already feel more confident in my french and I am recognising more and more words out on the street and in conversations around me.
