Hi All
In lesson 4.9 the lesson gives specifics of which prepositions take the Accusative. Is there a lesson on Dative as specific as that? I see there are some in level 3, but is the a more comprehsive one?

There doesn't seem to be a comprehensive treatment of prepositions in the Rocket course. That is to say: accusative, dative, 2 way and genitive.
However if that is what you want there are plenty of websites going through it all, here is an example which seems pretty comprehenisve.

Thanks Simon
In level one they dedicate a whole chapter to nominative and later accusative. Was very helpful. So was looking through other levels. No such luck. I do use books extensively and am using several resources at this stage. I enjoy the combination that Rocket supplies. Speaking plus new vocabulary combined with a new concept. That said it does drive me a bit crazy when too many concepts are crammed into one.
I do really well with book learning. More my learning style. That way I go and sit in a coffee shop and do some.
Trying to plan a trip to the Maler Weg. Philip wants to do the hike. Our 4 adult children and a boyfriend want to come along. Been a bit like herding cats, as they all have different time slots.
Will see what happens.

Hallo Maxie und sfpugh,
Lesson 20.5 ‘Prepositions’ gvies examples of prepositions taking the accusative, dative and genitive case.
Dative prepositions are: ab, außer, zu, nach, bei, von, aus, mit, seit and gegenüber.
Do you have any specific questions about these, Maxie? If so, don't hesitate to ask here :)
Viele Grüße,
Julia

Thank you Julia
I saw those, but was hoping for one like in 4.9. I just liked the format of this one. That it only covered one case. I get that this was level one. In level one there is a lot of reference to dative in the sentences, and something more specific in level one would have been great. That said no program is perfect and I'm okay with that
