Hallo:
Sorry to be the pest who seems to have more questions than anyone else. (I think it's because I have vague memories from learning German the first time fifty years ago!) Anyway, my questions regarding chapter 7.3 of the grammar download are:
a) the feminine genitive for ein and kein are shown as eine/keine[/color:d6zuf2tq]. Is this modern German? I remember learning genitive with __r[/color:d6zuf2tq]__ on the end, i.e. einer/keiner.[/color:d6zuf2tq] But, as I said, that was fifty years ago. Certainly enough time for things to change.
b) similar question for neuter genitive, which is shown as ein/kein[/color:d6zuf2tq]. Didn't one used to write eines/keines[/color:d6zuf2tq]?
c) the plural kein is shown as Dative keiner [/color:d6zuf2tq]and Genitive keinen[/color:d6zuf2tq]. Is it not the other way round?
Many thanks for help.
Regards,
Caroline
