“Ein” at the end of a sentence?

I have just seen this sentence “Nehmen Sie Medikamente ein = Do you take medicine”.
I was wondering why we are putting “ein” last and when we should do that.

einnehmen a separable verb and the prefix of separable verbs goes at the end of the sentence in the present.
