hello,
I am just starting this course and I am downloading files for burning to a DVD-R for my personal use. Is it possible to download the audio files in the Grammar and Culture portion of the course?
I see you can play them, but do not see any download option. The audio for the pronunciation of the German alphabet would be helpful.

Hi Bill,
welcome to Rocket German. Unfortunately you can't currently download the audio from the grammar guide.
However we are in the process of revamping the whole members area and we will not only add new quizzes and progress tracking, but make the whole experience more user friendly. We hope to have the new members area up and running by the end of March. I will let you know once it's launched.
We also have a free pronunciation guide on our site.
Please have a look at:

All the best for your German learning.

Thank you for your response.
I just asked because I learn better hearing. I tried to learn some Arabic while in Egypt but I had a hard time trying to vocalize the words like they do.
Looking forward to new content.

HI
I am new to this forum so please bare with me. I have only ever spoken English my entire life and I am having some difficulty getting motivated to learn German. My husband and now toddler speak German (Austrian dialect) and I am frantically trying to get my head around speaking German. I can understand certain words but stringing together sentences that make sense is another thing. I just would like some tips on understanding the alphabet, use and pronuciation of words and ways of improving learning the language. I am a visual learner but also like to write things down to see them are visualising them.
Your assistance would be great.
