Why isn't it Guter Morgen? I'm guessing this is the accusative form, am I right? Why not the nominative form?

Hey Mxyloreda, "Guten Morgen" is the short form of "ich wünsche einen guten Morgen!" (I wish you a nice morning) which is accussative. Gruss Paul
