This is translated as “Das wurste ich schon”.  Okay, I get that, but would “Ich wurste das schon” also be correct?  What am O missing?

German sentence structure is pretty flexible most of the time, so yes, “Ich wusste das schon.” would also be possible! While “Das wusste ich schon.” implies more emphasis on das (the thing(s) that you already knew about), “Ich wusste das schon.” emphasises ich (you as a person already knowing all about it).
