Hi,

When should you write "jemand" and when should you write "jemanden"?

Best,

Hallo Rex,

Jemand and jemanden are in two different cases: the first is nominative and the second is accusative. However, some German speakers will drop the -en ending and use jemand as the accusative form as well, and this is not incorrect. It is simply more modern.

Tschüss!
