Hallo!

In lesson 3.3 (Going into Town) when Nik says "Ich moechte das Rathaus und die Kirche sehen", Paul replies "Das ist beides im Centrum"

Should it not be "Sie sind besides in Centrum"? because we are talking about 2 places not one.

It's the weekend so I don't suppose a tutor will reply soon so I will try.

Das ist / das sind mean this is/ these are

Beides means both (different things) but strangely it  is singular hence "das ist beides"
