The grammar section has this listed but both the long and the short sound the same. I ran across a word in 1.2 that uses this character. möchtest and möchte I am have a heck of a time trying to figure out how to pronounce these two properly. I believe they both are pronounced differently from each other too. I hear something like: m-air-k-test for möchtest and something like: murk-ta for möchte Should they be different? And does anyone have any suggestion on how best to shape my mouth and tongue for these? Thanks

Hi there, möchtest and möchte should really sound more or less the same (the first part of it anyway). We have a pronunciation guide on our website. Please visit the following link to find some examples of how to say the sound "ö". https://www.rocketlanguages.com/german/free/alphabet.php Let me know if you need some more examples. Thanks.
