Alternatively, you could say in German: Und auch sonst möchte ich nicht in so einem Saustall leben. That would be a more literal translation of "such a".

literally, it is " I would not like". Dislike is used only because there is no such equivalency in German.

Well yes, one of my criticisms of the Rocket translations is that they seem to prioritise colloquial English over the teaching aspect of phrases. There is often a more literal version which brings out the teaching side while still being perfectly reasonable English. 
Sometimes they will put a literal translation in brackets, but mostly not.
