Das ist doch völlig verrucht

I have just seen this sentence which means “That’s completely insane”.
Is it also possible to use “vollständig” instead of “völlig”? If not, in which situations can you use both of them?

Hallo RexV,

Vollständig and völlig are interchangeable.

Note, though, that verrucht and verrückt are two different words: verrucht means "wicked" and verrückt means "crazy."

Tschüss!
