Hi All
In lesson 7.7 the verb “gezogen"
Have been looking for a translation to conjugate the verb. Translations come up as to pull if zogen is typed in. So not sure what I should be looking for.
Help would be appreciated

Hi Maxie,
gezogen is the past participle form of the verb ziehen.
Ziehen can have different meanings depening on the context. The most common one is “to pull” as you mentioned above. Lesson 7.7 also gives the example of
“Sie sind nach Berlin gezogen.” - “They moved to Berlin.”
Here, ziehen nach translates to “to move to”.
Zogen, on the other hand, is the simple past form of ziehen and means “pulled”.
Hope this helps!
Viele Grüße,

Danke sehr Julia.
As always you explain things very well.
Have a fun weekend. It seems as though we will be going to Germany in May. My husband and adult children will be hiking the Maler Weg. And I will be doing some cycling and having Kaffee und Kuchen. It seems to be a beautiful area.

That's sounds very exciting! The Malerweg is known to be one of the most stunning and beautiful hiking trails in Germany. Cycling is also a great way to explore the country and of course you can never go wrong with Kaffee und Kuchen!
We look forward to hearing from your experiences and adventures!
Viele Grüße,
