Terrible experience with the Rocket Languages. I have been struggling to find a motivation to keep studying but the boring experience that the platform gives you doesn't lead you anywhere. It's just a bunch of "repeat" this, "repeat "that" that you will be closing the browser before finishing the audio lesson. Not only that, the lack of explanation that the teachers give you and makes you need to find other places to learn it's absurd. If I knew this experience would go on, I would have chosen Google Translator instead. If I could come back, I wouldn't buy.

Rocket languages has really helped me a lot, I got to learn how to speak Italian within a week by the time I went there on holiday I found it easy to interact with Italian people and my friends and they were impressed! I would also encourage individuals to join this site , its not just an everyday class you attend, you have fun doing it too. ciao!

I wanted to learn how to speak Italian because I was tired of listening to my wife and her family and not knowing exactly what they were saying. Of course they would always tell me what they had said but I always wanted to experience it first hand. I first ordered rosetta stone Italian but I wasn't pleased with their teaching method and returned immediately. I went on You tube to find reviews on a good italian program and came across a review for rocket Italian. The person who gave the review took into account a few courses but praised the rocket program over all of the ones mentioned. I then decided to order on the spot. I have not had the program for a week and have impressed my wife on how well I can read the conversation transcripts. I decided to read (in Italiano) to my father-in-law, who grew up in Italy, and he was extremely impressed with my pronounciation. THIS IS ONLY AFTER ONE WEEK!!! I try to practice every day and have my wife speak to me in italian to keep me sharp. I want to thank Rocket Languages for this opportunity to learn and reach my goal that I have set for myself. I like the way review is spiraled into several lessons, so the words really stick. I also like the multimodal practice with each lesson. I expected to have some difficulty picking up Italian after many years of not practicing any language except English, but I'm learning more quickly and remembering more thorougly than I thought I would. Tutto bravo!

I am fully enjoying learning Italian with Rocket Languages. It's a program that is very thorough and easy to use. I have tried other programs in the past and would find them very boring. I am very happy I bought the program!

I am half Italian and Hispanic, I was adopted from South America and I never knew my native tongue which is Spanish. People have asked me if I am Italian and I always say I'm half....when in truth I look more Italian than Hispanic, I have always loved the Italian language and always wanted to learn, I helped my mom learn when she went to Italy last year and the basic words I picked up on quick, so, I had the itch to learn. Rocket Italian is amazing and I love it !!!! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn Italian or any language. BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER !!!!

I have recently purchased Rocket Italian and Have just started Module 1. It seems there is a glitch in the audio depiction software every time you are asked to repeat the numbers one, two, three.

Though this does not seem like a big deal, it is to me because it prevents me from getting 100% on the lesson. Being I found this so early on can I be expecting to see more glitches with future modules? Please advise on how to rectify this issue, I am dissatisfied with this product already in its early stages.

Rocket italian is not bad, but it could be so much better.

I'm still studying Level 1 - Unit 3 but I have noticed several issues:
- The audio tracks are a bit long for my taste. They take from 20 to 30 minutes and are spoken very slowly. The website and the app don't allow you to speed it up, so you have to download the tracks in order to do it;
- The conversations are between a native italian and a heavily accented american. I am not a native english speaker and several of the rocket students also aren't so I don't see why not using only native italian speakers on the audio tracks
- There are several small translation mistakes and inadequacies, over time they start being annoying;
- Some audios should be reviewed/updated, the other day I heard one that made reference to the year 2008.

Also, Rocket Languages is oblivious to the existence of potential students in developing countries (as in my case) when establishing their pricing strategy. These courses are way more expensive for me, for instance, as they are for my american or european counterparts, when purchase power is concerned.

Rocket languages also does not give meaningful discounts when you enroll in more than one language.

I completed the trial of Rocket Italian and was suitably impressed to invest in the full course including levels 2 and 3. I really enjoy the lessons and have made more progress with this course than any other I have tried. I particularly like the ability to interact with the dialogue, the voice recognition, and the mobile app so that I can review/continue my lessons when on the move. Although I initially hesitated making a purchase because of the price, I rationalised the decision based on the fact that Rocket Language offered something better than learning from a book/CD audio course, and it's a lot cheaper and more convenient than attending classes or personal 1-1 lessons. I also realised that making the purchase confirmed how serious I was about wanting to learn Italian and sealed my commitment to doing it. In fact, given the quality of source material, and the ingenious use of tech, I regard my purchase as 'good value for money' and would certainly recommend Rocket Italian to others. There has clearly been a lot of work given to making this course as good as it is.

English is my first language and I also know a lot of Spanish as a result of formal study and where I grew up. I’m trying to learn some Italian to prepare for an extended stay planned for fall 2019. I’m 62 and work full-time and was concerned I wouldn’t make time for this, but it’s starting to be easy as I familiarize myself with the system. It’s easy to turn something on while I’m excercising or on the way home from work and learn something new or review a prior lesson in fifteen minutes. I’m hoping for great things!
