As an English teacher for a French Bilingual program, I love that Rocket French helps me learn the language that my students and their parents speak. I also really love that I can download lessons to my phone to listen to and to practice in the car during my daily commute.

This site is by far most straight forward and easy method for language learning. I'm really impressed with the design, very sleek. Best part is audio courses keep you talking and thinking in language you are learning.

Travelogues is a welcome extension of Rocket Spanish Platinum and, as a previous user of Rocket Spanish Premium and Platinum, I've been waiting for a newer advanced edition from them for a few years.
Rocket Spanish is, by far, the best foreign languages program that I have used.
The prices of their programs have been better or, at the very least, comparable to others.
And, even better and unlike the others, they WILL allow you total access to their learning material for as long as you like.
No 1 year expiration dates. Which was a big selling point.
Hopefully, by the time people finish their Travelogue lessons, they'll have produced another program for even more advanced students.
Because I'm sure that others would make the purchase just as I would.

I learned French in school in Canada, but after so many years having not practiced the language, my memory was latent and rusty. I am primarily motivated to brush up on my French for professional purposes and - for this purpose - having been investigating on-line French learning options. I settled on Rocket French due to so many reasons: interactive learning; focus on pronunciation; repeated exercises; explanation in English of French grammar and rules; etc. I could go on...

Thank you Rocket French staff for helping me - at my own pace - to re-learning French and giving me the confidence to speak with French-speaking professionals!

I was originallyyoung drawn in by the great reviews and I'm happy to say I agree with them. The pacing of the lessons is great and the price was well worth it especially if you compare to classroom lessons

Rocket Japanese is definitely worth the money: for the price of one year of weekly language course, you actually get more to learn and practice. I really enjoy the audio courses which are delightful. And the interactive website is well designed as well, except the audio recognition system which still needs some improvement. I really would like to see more interesting learning materials in future, and maybe some recommendations on videos, articles and cultural items that I can go look at.

what do get if you procrastinate and are indecisive about learning a new language on line? You get Rocket!!!!!
I did not get as far in the lessons as I wanted but even though our three Italian guests we were taking around touring for three weeks spoke minimal English at most, and our Italian was minimal this course was set out so well that we could search the situation and communicate with one another far better than using an English-Italian dictionary. I am continuing on and I would recommend this course without reservation.

I'm only a few lessons into my Spanish course but already I've learned more than I have with other courses. I love how practical the lessons are - I'll actually be able carry on a conversation rather than say a few random words. I also appreciate all of the accompanying tools and survival kit materials. Great course!

I had been using less sophisticated apps over the last few years, which only minimally assisted me in my recent 2 trips to Italy. The trips were amazing, but I was frustrated that I wasn't able to use the language more when I was there. I'm determined to visit again and I now feel much more confident that, with this program, I will be much more able to converse with the Italians when I'm there. This program is also the only one I've experienced that incorporates the unique and wonderful Italian culture along with the lessons, which I think is inextricably linked to the language itself. I highly recommend it!

Rocket Japanese is a pretty good introduction to Japanese. It's definitely far better than Rosetta Stone and a few other programs I had some experience with (but fortunately never actually wasted money on), but despite how they boast about teaching grammar, it does a woefully inadequate job of teaching even the most basic grammar, and there are some strange choices for vocabulary to teach: for instance, there is an entire survival kit that is more than 80% words that I will never use because I don't drink alcohol or eat pork or shrimp. That being said, when used alongside other resources, it can be a fantastic introduction to Japanese. I especially recommend Tangorin.com (a dictionary) as a vocab supplement and Tae Kim's "Guide to Japanese" for grammar.

I believe that the purpose to Rocket Japanese is to teach you enough of a language to be able to have some level of basic interaction with natives if you go to Japan. To actually be able to learn the language to any real degree of fluency, you'll need a lot more. Nihongonomori.com is a good place to go after completing Rocket Japanese if you want to keep going in your Japanese studies.
