Hi Behzad, 'dein' and 'ihr' are pronouns. 'Dein' is 'your' and the genitive form of you. There are two forms of 'ihr', one is the dative form and means (to) her and the other the genitive form meaning her. The question word in the dative is 'wem' (to) whom). The question word in the genitive is wessen (whose). Examples: Das Auto bereitet ihr Probleme-> the car is causing her trouble. Whose car is causing trouble? Her car. Hi Ahmar, Sorry for the delay. The examples 'Wie heiBt Ihr Bruder?', 'Wie heiBt Ihre Schwester?' can be referring to the Dative form of the formal 'sie' or it can mean 'her'. 'What is the name of her brother?' 'Sie' and 'ihr' the formal form of 'you' is used when you wish to be polite or show respect to an individual or a group. You might use it with strangers, the elderly, teachers or authority figures. 'Dein' and 'deine' is iformal 'your' in English. Hope it helps!
