Rocket Japanese Reviews

I've been looking for learning programs for months now, and Rocket Languages has been the easiest to use and learn from. I was able to speak and understand words and phrases almost immediately. Unlike other programs, this one has actually made it easy to learn to also read and write in the target language. I can't recommend this program strongly enough.

I've been wanting to learn a new language for the longest time and could never really settle on one. I took two years of French in high school but found it wasn't for me and never pursued it further. I've always thought the Japanese language was very beautiful and since I do follow a lot of current trends of Japan as well as being enthralled in the deep cultural history, this made my choice very easy.

At the time of this writing I have completed the first 5 lessons having listened to each lesson multiple times. I generally follow the lesson by scrolling through the conversation text while it is being spoken. Then I'll listen to the lesson on my drive to and from work. On average I listen to each lesson 4 times. The greatest thing about learning is that I actually feel like I'm learning the language. I'm recalling words and phrases and was even able to order myself sushi comfortably.

I have been extremely impressed with the Rocket Japanese course. I do know I have a long way to go but I promise you, that if you put in the effort and time you will succeed at this.

this feels like it actually teaches you how to learn the language if you put for the effort and do what it instructs. ive tried other language learning sites and they feel like theyre just teaching you words while this site teachers you sentences and their structer.

Rocket languages certainly gives such in depth lessons into Japanese, and really helps it stick into your brain like no other program can do. The interactive audio lessons help you learn pronunciation and some of the cultural aspects of the language as well.

I'm learning much more than I thought was possible online and having a good deal of fun Rocket Languages really gave me the tools to succeed with my new language .I love the way the process tests you not only on your memory but also on your enunciation of the language. Many times my intonation is not what it should be and the system catches it. Thank you Rocket Language

This is by far the best language program I have tried. It's very engaging and very informative. Yes, you can learn phrases prior to learning the grammar but I feel it's easier to hear those phrases and understand what they mean first. Then break it down to no what each is what. From there I can add new vocab I learnt and use them in different phrases to get my meaning across. This allows me to feel more comfortable conversing with others that speak the language. This software gives almost everything you need in learning a new language. From practice conversations (yes you speak instead of just memorizing with no speech practice), to the writing system. This is an amazing program and I'm glad I purchased it!

Love it thus far. But the pace seems to be picking up rather quickly. For example i feel they are not leave enough time in between word or parses for you to repeat when compared to previous lessons. Don't get me wrong i expected it to eventually speed up but i'm only on the third lesson. I've found myself having to review this lesson a lot more then the first two because it was so hard to keep up at first. Even so i still really enjoy Rocket Japanese as you can tell form the start of my review and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn Japanese.

I started about 4 days ago and have put in about 15-20 hours studying because it is so much fun. I have not felt bored or overwhelmed at all even when faced with the thousands of kanji to remember. I love the pace the audio lessons setup to begin with. Although, the third lesson in particular was tough to keep up with but it seems to just be an editing mistake not leaving enough time to repeat the phrases. I have had an amazing experience and have learned so much so far. I even found myself waking up this morning to repeating Japanese phrases as soon as I opened my eyes. It is very refreshing to enjoy learning something new after having been out of school for a few years. My goal with this knowledge is to supplement my chemistry degree and get into an international company working with Japanese businesses.

I have had the opportunity to try the lessons for about a week and I am very pleased. I'm older, so, it may take me a little longer to be able to memorize, but, I am able to track/understand and follow the program. I believe that it is a very good value for the money. I look forward to writing another review in about 6 months with progress results. Thank you!

Through my work I also have Rosetta Stone, that being said I get more out of Rocket. With Rocket I can take it anywhere with me and listen to the audio while I commuting; as well get a better understanding of the usage of the language. While with Rosetta stone I have to look at the app and guess most of the time, never really knowing if i am getting the correct understanding of the lessons. I will always recommend Rocket over them!!
