Good! I am still working on it. Rocket Arabic is a good one and I love the interactive lesson. It helps us to pronounce the words in Arabic wich is sometimes difficult. Some of the Arabic words are very difficult to pronounce them. In this case, It is good to use the Rocket Arabic practice parts. Learning the vocabularies is also a key component of language learning and Rocket Arabic provides more than enough
I have started studying Egyptian Arabic with Rocket Arabic only 10 days ago. I have made good progress and I love the interactive audio lessons with very good voice recognition functionality. The modules are scaffolded nicely with lots of opportunities for reviewing and practicing. The topics are presented in a friendly, fun way and even the Arabic grammar does not feel too complicated when introduced at this pace. I am confident that I will be able to speak to locals easily, next time I go to Egypt. Thank you Rocket Languages, keep up the good work!
This is a great language program to learn Egyptian Arabic. I strongly recommend it.
Very comprehensive and great price. I like it because it focuses mainly on speaking and comprehension, like real life conversations.
I have no plans to visit Egypt, but I want to read Naguib Mafouz's books without having to look up all the dialog, word by word, so I was interested in at least an introduction to Egyptian. The Rocket Arabic course offers far more than an introduction - there's a mass of the spoken language, if not much grammar, which seems pretty easy after some MSA. I skipped ahead from Module 1 to Module 4 (which has a lesson with Naguib Mafouz in the title) and decided to finally try out the Chrome version to see how it graded my pronunciation. The app graded my MSA at 100% (set on Hard), but routinely flunked my Egyptian (around 30%) - it wanted quhlumu ruhsuhsun, not alum whatever for pencil. So I'm going back to Firefox and not worrying about the pronunciation, beyond trying to mimic the native speaker as closely as possible. Once I finish Module 4 I'll go back to 2 and proceed in order from there (happily skipping the lessons on numbers, which are absolutely essential when you're in a country but take an inordinate amount of time if you really just want a reading knowledge of a language).
As far as recommending Rocket Arabic to a friend, it really depends on what they want it for.
i really like Rocket Languages! makes it easy and fun to learn , great for any age
Great program the best that I have used so far. Love the fact that I can down load the audio and listen in my car The instructors speak slowly when they repeat the sentences after they speak at normal spoken speed. Also like the fact that you can print the transcript. I am currently at lesson 1.3 but am happy with my purchase. Would recommend this program for anyone wanting to learn Egyptian Arabic
I am loving this course! The way they break down each sentence so you understand what you are saying and how the Arabic language works. The 'hear it say it' is awesome. I can hear how I sound and the scoring system helps identify areas where I need to practice more. My only small criticism is that sometimes with a longer sentence the time allowed is not long enough. Apart from that I think this a fabulous way to learn. Thank you
I'm really pleased with Rocket Language: Arabic! The only downside is that they haven't created more levels!! I would purchase all of them! There are several features that I find especially useful: 1) I can use it anywhere, 2) I can use complete lessons on my computer or my iPhone 3) the technology allows the program to check my pronunciation. I have checked out every app I could find and Rocket Language was by far the most comprehensive without being complicated--it is a very intuitive program.
This is an Awesome piece of software, it works on all computers, including Linux, Mac, and Windows. I love it because I can use it anywhere, and almost anytime. Inshallah, I will learn Arabic very quickly.
