Rocket Languages review criteria
This course was recommended online after my CD Roms from Rosetta Stone became totally useless with the disappearance of Adobe Flashplayer. The price is reasonable and the practice is quite good.

It is a great app to use for quick and easy learning of a new language. I wish, however, that the price was a little better for students.

Although the price may be a barrier for students, it is worth noting that unlike many other subscription based services we offer full lifetime access to the course and all updates for one payment (or six instalments). Easily the worst language learning product on the market. Every lesson is set up to trick the student and set them up for failure. There are numerous mistakes in every lesson and when one of two options is the 'right' answer, the program is so lacking that it only shows one. This is basically a perfect course if you want to waste your money and learn virtually nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE.

I love the Italian course. It is hard to learn Italian, even though my native language is Spanish (we share feminine and masculine), but a lot of words are so different. I'll try my best. Thank you! I just would like to suggest something new in your website: It will be great if we can have a real time chat to ask questions and get the answers right away, instead of waiting for somebody to answer by email.

You're absolutely right, learning a new language can be a challenge, but give yourself time and we're confident that you'll get the hang of it. As for your question about a chat, we actually have a similar feature called the "Forum," which is located in the tools section. The great thing about this feature is that the responses are from linguistic experts who know the language inside and out. Feel free to post any language questions that pop up in there. All the best!

Audio does not work, neither for initial pronunciation, nor playback. When I try to listen "session aborted" appears.

I really like that there is more structure to the courses than many online self-taught alternatives. The dialogues and activities are very helpful. The cultural notes are also great. This course feels a lot more "real life applicable" than many other online resources I've used.
