Rocket German Reviews

Rocket German is awsome. I just don't have the time to devote to it. But it has helped me talk with my German relatives. The slang that they interject is interesting and understandable because of the lessons in Rocket German.

I am also taking a live class in German. I find that Rocket German gives me an added boost to learning and makes me think in different ways than just the live class. I learn a lot from Rocket German and could use just it to learn German but putting the two together for me is great!

I had some background studying German in college and living there a couple of years courtesy of the US Army. But that was quite a while back. Now, I decided as a hobby to brush up and improve my German skills. This is an excellent tool to assist me in this goal. One interesting thing is that I have a lot of background noise where I live; however, the speech recognition is able to do a very good job except when one of our pet birds squawks. All of the speakers but one speak very clearly and slowly so you can catch the appropriate pronunciation. I provided feedback about one speaker who speaks so softly that it is hard to distinguish sounds, but this is probably something you could easily encounter in speaking to a native German. The application is very good for grammar understanding and building a vocabulary; however, it has been good for my learning to supplement the course with some German short stories at my level to better learn expressions and dialog in different situations and locations. Overall, I am very pleased with the course.

I just finished Level 1 German, and I have learned so much! I actually feel like I would be able to converse in German (with a very patient German speaker!), and now I have the confidence to try. I had used (free) Duolingo before, and Rocket German is so much better and well worth the cost. Understanding which verbs to use to politely ask for things was new to me - Cultural lessons like that are very important! I love the "Benchmark" tool and making my own Flashcards for study. Highly recommend!

Initially I dint trust. But when started experimenting really awesome software. You can learn a lot lot n more.
Really appreciated for its designing. Learning German made me easy but little expensive to purchase online. Fit for corporate employees. For students little burden I feel.

I am very surprised by the method of Rocket language. Recently acquired the Rocket german course, and the lessons are interesting and interactive. Of course, for this kind of course you with need a lot of motivation and discipline, but the advantage is that they give you guidelines to design your learning strategy. I'm really happy with my progress in German. Tschüss!

Makes useful phrases easy from day 1. The additional learning content is amazing for the price, and hearing native speakers and practicing pronunciation is extremely useful and fun.
The testing processes are excellent to review progress in learning.

In my opinion, Rocket Languages is one of the best ways to learn a language. It gives you the opportunity to learn at your own pace and teaches you in 4 different ways, listening, reading, writing and speaking.
