Very good ideas but difficult to move on to next module easily if too easy

Very good course. Lots of content. Sometimes the solo speaking section is a bit redundant. Simulated dialogue would be most helpful.

Thank you for your feedback, Michael! In our early Rocket Spanish modules, we aim to keep things simple with plenty of practice opportunities so the phrases you're learning truly stick. If you're looking for something a bit more challenging, check out Rocket Spanish Play the Part—it's based on a variety of authentic conversations you might encounter if you lived in a Spanish-speaking country!

A few notes -- Distinguish between travel Spanish vs. a full language acquisition focus.
On the full language acquisition pathway:
Get to basic verb conjugation with genders earlier.
Establish the concept of the present tense.
Keep the pattern of building vocab with valuable phrases.
The product has dramatically improved since 2018 -- good work. When I ran the language learning product management for Rosetta Stone foundations, I looked at you. I like your progress.

Thank you for your feedback. It's great to hear your perspective on our Rocket Spanish course. We have divided our course into Audio lessons, where you'll focus on speaking and listening. These lessons cover topics that you might find more relevant to travel or will teach you the basics if you plan to spend a few weeks in a Spanish-speaking country. Language and Culture lessons, on the other hand, are designed to guide users through more in-depth grammar alongside what is covered in the Audio lessons. Many of the topics you've mentioned are explicitly addressed in the Language and Culture lessons in the latter half of Module 1. We want the course to be accessible to users who are learning a second language for the first time. Therefore, to begin with, we provide examples of the present tense in the Audio lessons without getting bogged down in grammar. This way, when we dive into a more detailed explanation, learners can make connections to what they have already seen. In other words, our approach is to ease learners into grammar rather than overwhelming them with jargon that might be inaccessible. I hope this helps explain some of the ethos of our course. If you have any further thoughts, we would be interested in hearing them; feel free to get in touch at [email protected].
too much reading. Im learning a language not reading an essay about a language. either read it to me or put in exercises to keep me locked in
Response from Rocket Languages
Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the lessons feel too reading-heavy for you. While we aim to offer in-depth explanations, we also include a variety of interactive activities like audio, speaking practice, and exercises to support different learning styles. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and will keep them in mind as we continue improving the experience. If there’s anything specific we can help with, feel free to reach out to [email protected].
Since I started rocket languages is fun and I like it.

We're so pleased that you’re enjoying the interactive style of our lessons, Grace. Thanks again, and happy learning!
It is difficult to begin--there is no easy way to start learning right off the bat, one has to search for the book/lessons. Learning would be easier if you could click a button to take you to a lesson (the most recent), with links to all of the information you need to continue on. This way you can just click start and get back to learning.
I have tried rosetta stone live mocha and berlitz. It is simple easy cost effective method of learning spanish. i have tried other software. This is great learning tool. i have tried arabic language course before. that was also good. I can learn on my pace flex schedule.
So far so good! I feel as if I'm back in school learning espanol! I cannot wait to try and speak to my new Costa Rican friends!! If I wasn't already excited, now I'm feeling a rad bit for confident with some new Spanish vocabulary!!
Affordable compared to RS. Like not having to use discs and being able to use a tablet. Like the grammar explanations, but haven't yet found all of the verb tenses in Spanish premium. Admittedly though, I've been quite lazy and haven't used the program as much as I should. It's not a program that makes you can't wait to get back to it. You need to be self motivated. I suppose that's true of the others, too.
