I love Rocket Spanish! I mainly use it in my car, but I do use it a lot-almost every day. I have some background in Spanish and right now I am working on the first level of Rocket Spanish, which is mostly, but not all review.. When I get to the next level I will probably use the online lessons more in addition to the in the off-line car practice. The lessons in the first level have been very well done, covering useful areas of information. The voices are clear and go at an appropriate rate. The program uses excellent vocabulary development methods, which includes lots of repetition.
Rocket Spanish has been a big surprise - it's one of the best language learning tools I have used hands down, and for the price is astonishing value. It's really unfortunate they have such a bad reputation with all the spammy affiliates and informercial-style marketing ("but wait, there's more!"). I only bought it after some hesitation and reading a few in-depth reviews from people I already trusted.
If you're on the fence about taking the plunge, look past the used-car-salesman marketing. The team that makes the actual courses is really good. They just need a new marketing department that don't use dodgy tricks, they can easily grow on the quality of the product instead.
I purchased Rocket Spanish years ago. Its easy to use and follow. The lessons are brief so you can listen to a modules anytime. I often come back months later and review.
I highly recommend this to everyone.
I have tried many other options for learning Spanish but am really enjoying the approach the Rocket languages course provides. The ability to test the speaking element alongside the listening and writing means that you get a great all round approach to learning the language. It also jumps you straight in to learning useful vocabulary rather than grammatical rules (which I admit need to be learnt but as part of a broader process).
After trying to find a "base" program to center myself around learning Spanish, I've found it with Rocket Languages. This program contains useful conversations that you WILL use when traveling or living in a Spanish speaking country. Not only that, but it furthers your education by many forms of reinforcement. After listening to the lessons, it is very wise to keep going with the supplementary features that are offered. I find myself spending an additional 30 minutes on just the review.
I'll be honest, Rocket Language will not do the work for you, but it will give you a base to center your learning. You get what you put into this; you really do. If you have the desire, and the iron is hot, by all means, start with RL and engage as much as possible.
Aside from this positive review, the purchase is worth it. The material is excellent and gives you the confidence to improve your Spanish even further to a very possible fluent proficiency. I recommend RL al the way to anyone trying to further their Spanish speaking abilities or simply getting started.
I researched quite a bit before purchasing the entire Rocket Languages Spanish Program, and the free trial cinched the deal for me.
Like any program that relies heavily on voice recognition, it has its difficulties with certain sounds, but I'm learning the idiosyncrasies, and there are easy workarounds. I did purchase a decent headset to work with, and that is helping a lot.
I'm not entirely new to Spanish. I've been playing around with some free programs for about a year, but even at my basic level, I was outgrowing their usefulness. I was able to start Rocket Languages at Premium Plus Level 2, and it's a good starting place for me.
I'm really look forward to my daily lessons and practice, and--in just a few short days--I'm already noticing improvement.
Rocket Spanish is a program that you have to be able to dedicate your time to. If you are not dedicated toward going through the material you will not learn like you should. If you are willing to put in the time you will get there. You can not just listen to a lesson each day. You need to learn the lesson you have that day and then you are done for the day. The material is solid but the will power to cover the material has to be there. Long story short, you will get what you put in.
Rocket spanish is very good, easy to learn and there are a lot of practices to help me understand the whole lesson. I try to find a good online spanish course for a few months, and I am very happy to choose rocket spanish. I bought the Level1 - Level3 and hope I can keep learning spanish every day.
This is the best spanish course I have found. I have tried Rosetta stone, group classes, baselang, and even a private tutor and my spanish has advanced the quickest with this course. I listen to the audio lessons on the way to work and find them very beneficial.
i am enjoying rocket Spanish and learning at a good rate.Although the course is quite expensive i think that it is reasonable value for money. The course is easy to follow and instils a lot of confidence in my ability to converse in spanish.
