I absolutely love Rocket Spanish. I have tried so many programs from Rosetta Stone, Pimsleur, italki, and many more. This is by far the most beneficial program. It has a fantastic method of teaching. I am a Puerto Rican who spoke no Spanish and now living in Florida I see what a disadvantage speaking no Spanish was doing to me. After only completing half of lesson one, I am now able to hold somewhat of a basic conversation and it's only getting better. It really breaks down on how to read, write, pronounce, and use the vocabulary in the correct order. I am beyond grateful to Rocket Language. It's such a breeze that after this I am going to buy the Rocket French because I am that confident with this program. It's not only helping me with my native language but it's helped me to realize that I love learning different languages, and how much I want to venture out and try many more now. I love Rocket Spanish. I've tried Duolingo, it was free, but It got to the point where they were teaching things like "The bird watched the game on TV" and "The cows cleaned the farm yesterday". I also took level one of Destinos, which a story you followed on video, and had a text book and workbook for learning other vocabulary. It was good, but I feel Rocket Spanish is a better fit for me. With Rocket Spanish, I can study on my phone or tablet, so I can take it to work and study during lunch or when I have to travel. Second, I'm not wasting my time learning sentences I would never use in real life. And with Rocket Spanish, it's not just listening and typing a response, but I get to respond vocally as well. Other programs like Rosetta Stone may have this feature, but they don't offer lifetime use and free updates. Finally, I have to say that their customer support is second to none. When I first started I experienced a couple of problems, but both times the customer service people were quick to fix the issues and gete back to my studies right away. Right now I'm half way through level 1, and I'm looking forward to purchasing levels 2 and 3 as well.

I'm an intermediate Spanish speaker and I really like my Rocket Language Course so far. The audio lessons are interesting, they sound natural and they incorporate a lot of colloquial expressions and informal language which is exactly what I needed in my practice. I also really like the explanation and lesson that accompanies each audio text because it often challenges the learner with "Now that you know how to say that, how would you say this?" I also like that the program forces me to practice my listening, speaking and writing with follow-up practice opportunities. I'm feeling like I am filling in my learning gaps and making progress each day.

I am heading to Costa Rica early next year for a vacation and thought it would be good to have some local Spanish language skills. I tried a few on-line and other software program trials but found Rocket to have what I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. I am 69 so learning new things is quite a bit more difficult than it used to be, but it keeps my mind active which is a benefit most people would not think of. So far I am enjoying the program and have learned quite a bit. This program also goes into why things are said the way they are said and also provides you with additional info to add to your learning experience. As with learning any language, practice is necessary. Rocket provides an easy and precise way of practicing any or all of what you have learned which is very helpful and doesn't require you to "endure" the things you don't want to replay. I did use the Rocket customer service regarding two questions I had. They were very responsive and resolved my needs. So far I am quite pleased with my purchase and recommend it to others

presentation and content of lessons are easy to follow. keeping it simple is the key to comprehending and understanding each lesson . i am very pleased

This is my second Spanish course on-line. It is very user friendly and albeit only one week in I am finding myself learning much more than the previous course (unnamed) I took. Rocket Spanish is easy to navigate and is composed of multiple learning methods. Well done!

tatarI like it so far, I have taken the entire Babble course, I am starting from the beginning, even though I am at beggining advanced level, just to review and practice for the advanced level. So, far this is a good course and I like the format, it seems promising so far, but really any course is good as long as you do it everdy day. We have a summer house in Mexico near Guadalajara, want to achieve more of an advanced level of fluency.

I've used several of the other "top" programs, however, Rocket Spanish is by far above and beyond any of them. Consider Rocket Languages as immersion and lessons combined...doesn't get any better.

I like the audio lessons. The new "know it" part seems a little redundant. The quizes are much too easy. There is very little practice writing or otherwise to really get concepts from a lesson nailed into the brain. And finally the organization is a totally a mess! Where is the overall lesson plan? There is so much repetition between the "Beginners Book" or whatever it is called and the language and cultural lessons, and the lesson numbers don't match, etc...I think there should be at least an order, like read lesson 3.1 in the manual, then listen to the audio lesson 3.1 and then do the cultural lesson 3.6 or something like that. Also the "say it" part where you speak to the computer doesn't really help me at all or my pronunciation. Hearing it helps with that.
Overall it is a pretty good method but could use a better format and overall organization. Bueno, creo que eso es todo.

I tried the intro lesson, and it wasn't enjoyable. When practicing pronunciation, I would fail to pronounce a word, but I would get 100%. I have a good microphone, but I had to yell to get half of what was said recorded. When it did show, I said 100% the playback would only have recorded 50% of what I said. I was yelling most of the time, which was really irritating. I practiced writing skills without knowing special characters, so I got most of the words wrong, although I had all the necessary letters.
I absolutely hated yelling into the microphone and then hearing a partial version of what I had yelled. So far, I hate Rocket Spanish. I completed the lessons, and if not for the fact that I had heard many of the basic words in the past, I would not have remembered most of what I learned. Thankfully, I am on a trial. Thank you, Rocket, for the trial period. I will continue the trial one more time and then give Babbel a try, trusting their money-back guarantee..
