I've been only studying for a couple weeks but Rocket Italian, simply put, is AWESOME! Maria and Alex are excellent instructors. The course's content, structure, format, and presentation is superb! Maria and Alex make it so enjoyable to learn Italian that I look forward (actually can't wait) studying my lessons each day. Not to mention the phone app that makes it easy to study anywhere at anytime. Can't say or give enough accolades to Maria and Alex! Grazie!

Pretty expensive class online for a lot of content. Easy to use on different devices. The audio speakers don't work well even if I pronounce the words incorrectly.

It has almost all the languages and it teaches it in a good way

So far, so good. Just stick with it. I am hoping to keep myself accountable with the social features.

This system works. It’s not irritating. Very structured. Sometimes voice recognition isn't reliable but, not being a techno head, I'm not sure why. Much try customer service. My confidence is growing in speaking french. Listening and understanding is the next hurdle. A great help. I believe it’s far better than the classroom.

No customer service line, no prompt response to messages. Write it section should be expanded. No mention of punctuation or how to apply such. Useless, in my view, without more help. Pimsleur does a better job of making reviewing a lesson(s) possible. I gave high marks on the satisfaction score because I like the way several parts of the module are taught, better than Pimsleur, I think. Price was also great. I think Pimsleur is too expensive, but their customer service is much, much better than Rocket.

So far, I've had a good experience with Rocket German. I got it about 2 weeks ago and I like the structure and how comprehensive it is. I love that in each lesson a conversation is thoroughly broken down. You get a lot of insight about the usage of words, examples of sentences in other situations, comprehensive explanations of grammar details, explanations of word order and so on and so forth. The only downside is that it may be too structured for some people and therefore boring to them. In my case that's okay since I use other resources and watch, read and listen some fun and diverse content too.
Some ideas for improvement:
- I'd love the hosters to speak a bit more naturally, even if it may be harder to understand, it'd improve our listening skills and prepare us for real situations (I'm not sure if in more advanced lessons, the conversations are more natural)...
- It could be good to have the opportunity to also get some reading exercises, like texts or stories with a feature of translation and listening. You could add something like this in each module...
- for visual learners it could be good to add some images for some flashcards (not all, since some words are too abstract).

This course focuses on making you talk, it's a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.
