Rocket German is an exceptionally well structured program for those pursuing conversational proficiency in German. Where other language-learning services will provide their patrons with shallow, single-word learning or obtuse lessons, Rocket German's sessions are perfectly divided into manageable, time-conscious and engaging modules, the exercises of which having clearly been perfectly crafted to maximize understanding, real-world application and knowledge retention.

The programme is designed to give you a lot of opportunities to speak and practice your pronunciation, as well as a healthy amount of repetition to help you memorise the new vocabs without making it annoying.

Excellent tool for learning, it covers all areas for the learner - from writing to speaking and quizzes etc, very helpful tool for my language learning.

Rocket Languages is very good for speaking learner

I could kick myself for all the time I wasted with the Owl and the Yellow Flashcards. I think they're both useful as sidekicks, but my German has improved so much and so quickly once I switched to Rocket German. The ~30-minute interactive lesson at the beginning, with practical dialogues (no swimming with a bear), really sets this program apart. I wish I'd found this sooner, but I'm so glad I'm here now.

So far, I've had a good experience with Rocket German. I got it about 2 weeks ago and I like the structure and how comprehensive it is. I love that in each lesson a conversation is thoroughly broken down. You get a lot of insight about the usage of words, examples of sentences in other situations, comprehensive explanations of grammar details, explanations of word order and so on and so forth. The only downside is that it may be too structured for some people and therefore boring to them. In my case that's okay since I use other resources and watch, read and listen some fun and diverse content too.
Some ideas for improvement:
- I'd love the hosters to speak a bit more naturally, even if it may be harder to understand, it'd improve our listening skills and prepare us for real situations (I'm not sure if in more advanced lessons, the conversations are more natural)...
- It could be good to have the opportunity to also get some reading exercises, like texts or stories with a feature of translation and listening. You could add something like this in each module...
- for visual learners it could be good to add some images for some flashcards (not all, since some words are too abstract).

So cool! I'm trying the free trial at the moment and I just finished my 1st lesson. I saw in a youtube video that the Rocket German might be the best way to learn German, and I can already feel it. I will upgrade for sure!

I enjoy the hear it say it and write it and the quiz, it has taught me many new words and grammar structures. themes are also helpful along with notes so I can write down all I learnt that lesson. Have recommended to friends.
