Well , it is well done but after having studied Russian for two years - it is like a review.I began by listening to your review of the whole course - it was for me like "deja vue " I would have been happier with a higher level..My question is : When will your next level be ready ? Continue the good work.
p.s. Speaking for myself - I would not use any star : not that the course is not good - I would reserve the stars for restaurants ...

So far so good! I like it better than Rosetta Stone and some other packages that I have tried. I have traveled in Russia, but my language skills were 'survival level' at best. I am hoping to pick up my game.

I am so glad I bought Rocket French! The course as a whole is outstanding as it caters to all learning styles. I find it difficult to learn just by ear so being able to write, test and get involved in the actual conversation really helps the new vocabulary sink in! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn a new language. It's much easier and more fun than learning in a class! :D

I would like to say that Rocket Languages is awesome because makes me feel comfortable about learning a difficult language such as Russian. I feel like I have had a immersion in the Russian words and culture, seeming to me as if I were living there...

I became gratefully surprised about the Rocket. They overcame my expectations in the best way!!

One major flaw, which is very frustrating. That is the speech recognition software is of poor quality. I do not know why this was not pretested better. But when saying the same words the same way results in a much higher score there has to be a problem. I listen to my voice played back, and it sounds much more like the Russian speaker's voice than the guess printed by the software. Often with time and no changes necessary it will register 100%. But often it will keep on asking for a repeat. It becomes very tedious. Otherwise the package is well designed, with a grammar emphasis which is necessary but often missing from other packages. So using this package I know why and how I am making a mistake. I have used another package in conjunction with this, but the other package is not sufficient by its own because although memory of the language improves, better understanding of the language is very slow. Rocket Russian helps this.

This is a great site, very easy to use, and very helpful! I would recommend this sight to anyone . I am improving my Russian! Rocket Russian came free through my college linguistic's course so I could not be happier for the price!

I like the pronunciation verification where you can answer the dialog in Russian language and it grades the quality of your pronunciation.
It is very interactive. I like also Pimsleur Russian very much. Pimsleur gets very difficult after lesson 15. And there is no verification. You must have a Russian speaker to verify your pronunciation. I am afraid if you learn it wrong you will always be wrong. So in conclusion I like the dialogues from Pimsleur Russian, but I am learning and reinforcing my learning with Rocket Russian.

I have tried to learn other languages such as Italian on other websites such as Rosetta Stone. However, they never truly helped me learn and absorb the language. When I decided that I wanted to settle on Russian, my parents helped me the best way they could by telling me about the Rocket Russian audio course. I have never learned more about another language than I have now.

Really good course, I'm studying Russian where the grammar aspect is crucial given the case declension of words, so the only feature that is missing is grammar, maybe this intentional, but I think it would help to have grammar chapters based on the existing lessons.

Wonderfully engaging and well-structured course! The voices are clear, precise and melodious. Jessica, in particular, is an absolute delight to listen to! Natalia and Ivan are superb as native speakers of Russian. The progression of the lessons comes naturally, does not overwhelm, gently nudging you towards fluency. Impressive! I wish I had partaken in a course of this quality back when I was learning English! I would have advanced at a much quicker pace! Recommended!
