I was trying to learn Arabic and I know only a little so I listen to them explain the numbers and I know my numbers 1-10 so I was listen and the numbers were mixed up like they said wahoud is 2 but it is actually 1 and it did the same mixed up thing the whole time so don’t waste your time on this app thinking there going to teach cause your just going to get mixed up with different words

Response from Rocket Languages

Hi Jacob - I am not sure where you are seeing that. I had a look through and all of our number lessons look correct. Can you please contact customer support and let us know exactly where you saw this?

It's seems a great way to learn a language through a very interactive experience. I am looking to learn basic Arabic and it seems to be the right program for me. The repetition part of the dialogues really helps. Recommended.

The content is good, but it is difficult to go through the lesson because Erica's voice is so annoying. It is also a bit frustrating when they give you so much time to repeat the words/phrases slowly, but not enough time to repeat the words/phrases quickly. I really do want to do all the lessons, but Erica is auditory hell

Response from Rocket Languages

Hi Evelyn, thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you are not enjoying the voice of our Rocket Arabic host. All your feedback has been passed on to the Arabic team to review. All the best!

Learning Egyptian Arabic with Rocket is awesome! The lesson content is fun and relevant, and I love that I can listen to my own recorded voice and check my pronunciation against the tutor... I am a visual learner, so I also love that I can see the transcript of the lesson, just to be certain that I have a visual memory of what the word looks like in Egyptian Arabic.... it's fun to learn with Rocket!

I've recently gained the opportunity to go to Germany for a job! All great news, with the small bump that i need to learn German within the next 3 months. I just started this program and i am loving it so far! It's easy to follow the lessons and focus on what the speakers are teaching and the site itself is simple and easy to navigate through to learn your intended language.

Highly recommend. I am taking the arabic program. I am on the trial still and am just finishing with the first section. I feel like this is very interactive and it's easy to stay focused, There's a lot of different activities that keep it interesting while also continuously reviewing the words or phrases you're learning so you can remember it. Aside from memorizing 1-10, i've pretty much got the rest of the vocab taught in the section. I do take notes and replay the audios and spend time studying and reviewing, But in 3 days i've retained so much information. Im happy and will be purchasing the full version

Response from Rocket Languages

We are so glad to hear that you are enjoying learning with Rocket Arabic. It's great to hear that you find the program interactive and engaging, and that the different activities help you stay focused and interested in learning. We wish you all the best with your Arabic studies!

I am trying to learn Egyptian Arabic since long time but I also do not have time enough to go into it. Now I found this course which I can do in my house any time or anywhere I can access internet.

From the experience I had with this course I am sure that I can achieve my goal.

I have been living inthe UAE for 13 years now and haven't really had the time to officially learn arabic. I've been to Egypt a lot and it encouraged me to learn. I am so happy to find Egyptian Arabic course here and I am really progressing a lot.

I would love to learn more after this course. You could learn at your own pace. I usually do the reviews of past lesson before i head on to another lesson. An i find this more helpful for me. I also practice speaking what i learned to arabic friends and they are impressed.

Thank you for this and i wish Rocket Languages more success.

Ma'a assalama!

I have no plans to visit Egypt, but I want to read Naguib Mafouz's books without having to look up all the dialog, word by word, so I was interested in at least an introduction to Egyptian. The Rocket Arabic course offers far more than an introduction - there's a mass of the spoken language, if not much grammar, which seems pretty easy after some MSA. I skipped ahead from Module 1 to Module 4 (which has a lesson with Naguib Mafouz in the title) and decided to finally try out the Chrome version to see how it graded my pronunciation. The app graded my MSA at 100% (set on Hard), but routinely flunked my Egyptian (around 30%) - it wanted quhlumu ruhsuhsun, not alum whatever for pencil. So I'm going back to Firefox and not worrying about the pronunciation, beyond trying to mimic the native speaker as closely as possible. Once I finish Module 4 I'll go back to 2 and proceed in order from there (happily skipping the lessons on numbers, which are absolutely essential when you're in a country but take an inordinate amount of time if you really just want a reading knowledge of a language).

As far as recommending Rocket Arabic to a friend, it really depends on what they want it for.
