I like the thoughtful blend of conversations focused on a specific situation (e.g., buying a train ticket), reinforcement through hearing, speaking, and writing, and enough grammar to understand the rules, without being overwhelming. The best endorsement is that I do a lesson nearly every day. Right now I have a 20-day streak.

I am relearning Italian after many decades. I really enjoy the conversational approach to learning. It is essential and practical at the same time. The hear it, say it, and write it feature is very helpful to the learning process because it reinforces what you learned from the opening conversation at the start of the module.

So far I find the recording of my voice/voice recognition extremely frustrating. I have used a headset, my airpods and nothing at all and it doesn't recognize what I saw half the time. Even easy words like ciao and sei. Everything else is ok so far, not totally user friendly. I will try it out longer and see how it goes. But, I strongly recommend working on the voice recognition. There are many products out there that work really well with this, such as Dragon my Nuance. Maybe use their software to recognize what people are saying.

I love the way Rocket has designed an easy way of learning a language. I love using Rocket! I am confident that in a few months I will be able to communicate a bit with my Italian friends! I highly recommend Rocket Italian!!

It may be just because I'm early in the lessons (lesson 1 still) but there seems to be a lot of English in the audio portions and not much of me practicing Italian. Also, the dialogue is a bit "cutesy". Finally, I find the on-going transcript to be very distracting. Seeing the dialog spelled out detracts from my having to recall the Italian words and phrases. Maybe this will get better as I get deeper into the course.

Comparing it to Mango languages, rosetta stone and transparent languages it's the best;
and Duolingo is a waste of time compared to it

Wow, just WOW! I'm already using phrases on my husband and he's been remarking, positively, on my accent. More than 4 decades ago, I took Italian lessons (paid for by my employer) in a classroom setting yet my comprehension, with your interactive method, has been far more successful. I can't say enough for Rocket. In fact, I did lots of internet investigating before purchasing the program and your positive reviews were what convinced me. I would recommend that others planning to learn a new language do the same.

I am evaluating the trial version of the course having only tried Duolingo prior to this. I am finding words I have not encountered already.

I would recommend this to anyone wanting to learn Italian!
