I have been working with duolingo for about a year now and while this program has certainly helped to expand my vocabulary I did not see how it would help me to engage in any conversation. I am now working every day with the Rocket Spanish program and love the approach. I am now learning in a way that will allow me to learn things that I will be able to use in daily situations that I hope to encounter in my future travels.

As with any language, immersion and conversation will get you the farthest, but Rocket Spanish does a good job at giving you a wide range of vocabulary and practice with the spoken language. The reinforcement tools can seem tedious at times, but repetition and commitment is vital to learning a new language. Get it on sale and it is totally worth your time and energy.

hi i have been having fun i tried this out and i really like the set up and all of the lessons i especially love how it can rate your pronunciation i think that that is really helpful it is also pretty fun i love doing it for school it teaches me to learn and speak Spanish fluently so i can travail to mexico and know what they speak and write

Audio lessons are a great tool to practice speaking aloud.
It would be great to have audio with the option of slow motion when listening.

so far it seems to be very good. the only problem is with my cell phone. it does not allow me to speak but i think it because i'm using internet explorer instead of chrome, just have to figure how to change it....

It's my first day to learn Spanish and I have to say, I like this Rocket Spanish.

Well structured and a good pace. The lessons are difficult enough that you want to lean more but not so difficult that they make you want to give up. Customer service for a product this large is insanely responsive. Overall, I have learned more in one level of this course than I did in 4 years of studying at school.

What a great way to learn Spanish! The lessons are fun and so engaging that each makes me want to advance to the next one. This on-line course offers everything -- hearing the language spoken, reading it, writing it, speaking it, and even watching it being spoken (which is surprisingly helpful.) This 73-year-old is learning much faster than he could have imagined six decades ago in school. The course designers clearly know how to teach. Each lesson seems to offer the right amount of new words and concepts along with previous material. You can mark phrases as difficult or easy for future practice, or favorites for study. And for idioms (phrases that don't translate literally), there is a little "lit." button to press to show a literal translation -- a great learning aid. They seem to have thought of everything. I couldn't recommend this course more highly.
