Good for picking up conversation skills. Lessons build well on each other and great focus on practicing speaking. I do wish there was a greater variety in terms of the types of exercises to complete. Also more review type exercises would be nice.
The course is so helpful, I've been studying with it for 18 days at the time of writing this review and It's probably the first time I managed to learn +10 words a day consistently ever since I started learning German 9 months ago. Do I recommend the course? Yes 100% because it saves you time and energy that would otherwise be wasted on looking for resources or relying on unorganized studying. two things I wasn't a big fan of about this course are 1:there is a considerate amount of typos I have noticed in the audio lesson subtitles like how they kept writing "ausserdem" instead of "außerdem" in the lesson called "renting an apartment". and 2: sometimes they don't explain enough during the lesson which can leave the student confused and asking the question "why is it this way?" but my advice is to ask chat gpt for more clarification about what you may struggle to understand during the audio lessons, the language and culture lessons are also very effective in teaching grammar as well as new vocabulary and expanding general knowledge, customer service is amazing. Thank you Rocket Languages for making German learning easier.

It's so wonderful to hear that Rocket German is helping you make steady progress with your language learning! We really appreciate you pointing out that typo—please know it has been fixed now, so when you next revisit this lesson, you’ll see "außerdem" spelled correctly in the script. Your thoughts on the grammatical explanations are great to hear and we want to let you know that our content team is working hard to introduce even more in-depth explanations as we make updates to our Audio lessons across the courses. Keep up the fantastic work, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any more feedback or questions. We’re here to help!
I waited a couple of months before my review so that I could be completely confident of my experience. I have become hooked on this style of learning, it is just what I was missing. You can hear your recording and compare it with a native speaker and repeat it until you get it right. There is voice recognition software that rates you, but it is sometimes inconsistent. But that is not a major issue to me. Considering you have unlimited time to learn, the price is right. I am starting to do the written test first since spelling helps me with remembering the words used in the other tests. The testing itself is a great teaching tool. Thank you Rocket guys!
I have found this course to be very useful in helping me to learn and improve my ability with German. I would recommend it to anyone whether they are just starting or want to rapidly improve.... an excellent investment.
Rocket Chinese has a lot of interesting features, but some don't seem to work as intended. I tried many times to do the testing...but somehow, it never registers when I do the speaking, although the microphone displays the profile it should have...lately the vocabulary did not seem to register eiter anymore when I put words into it.
nice and easy way to get familiar with Spanish basics. The tests are perfectly designed to make the newly learned words and phrases stick. The points and badges system is a good motivation to keep up and practice daily.
Seems to be very comprehensive and learning how to speak, pronounce, write and listen. I am enjoying the course and prefer it on the computer rather than app but this is only personal preference. Great content

It is a usefull language learning system, I especially like the MP3 files, however I have spotted a few problems with the website, these are: Unit = 2.11 the website says metro = Underground however it Should be = metro = meter & Underground = metropolitan Its ok to put in names & so not translate them - But not ok to say a name is a translation when it is not. Unit = 2.12 the website says Lavoro manuale = Labor however it Should be = Lavoro manuale = manual work & Lavoro = Labor Unit = 2.13 the website says Quant'è? = How much does it come to? however it Should be = Quant'è? = How much? & venuto a = come to Unit = 3.4 the website says Abbastanza = Fairly bad. however it Should be = male = bad Unit = 3.4 the website says Allora riposa e cerca di dormire. = Ok then, have a rest and try to sleep. however it Should be = Ok then, have a rest = Ok allora, avere un periodo di riposo Unit = 3.7 the Problem is English words on wrong (italian) side for: ham, cabbage & she arranges Unit = 3.7 the Problem is all più words have extra letters in them = più Unit = 3.7 the Problem is ' is confusing in It's hotter (more hot) today than yesterday.
I researched quite a bit before purchasing the entire Rocket Languages Spanish Program, and the free trial cinched the deal for me.
Like any program that relies heavily on voice recognition, it has its difficulties with certain sounds, but I'm learning the idiosyncrasies, and there are easy workarounds. I did purchase a decent headset to work with, and that is helping a lot.
I'm not entirely new to Spanish. I've been playing around with some free programs for about a year, but even at my basic level, I was outgrowing their usefulness. I was able to start Rocket Languages at Premium Plus Level 2, and it's a good starting place for me.
I'm really look forward to my daily lessons and practice, and--in just a few short days--I'm already noticing improvement.
So far RL is okay. The audios are entertaining, but a tad slow and I wished that they were a bit less English-heavy as it really breaks my French-thinking mindset. Any technical issues (and there are quite a few given the nature of the voice recognition software) that are reported fall onto deaf ears. Overall, it's an okay program, but needs heavy supplementation from grammar and vocab books (as all learners should have anyway).
