Great support team. Attitude and availability of support team makes a very significant difference in motivating the student to learn a new language (like French in my case). My experience is that a teacher (or a course support team) impacts directly student's success in completing a course.

I've only done a few lessons in French, and I'm already amazed at how much I’ve learned. This app is challenging, but fun.

Thirty years ago, I used Pimsleur tapes purchased by my employer and local university continuing education classes that they paid for. I did obtain sufficient fluency at the time which worked well traveling to Mexico. But, "use it or lose it" caught up to me. I want to regain where I was and go further. With Spanish podcasts, other Internet options and Spanish cable channels, "using it so as not to lose it" is more available. And, I now have some "locals" who I know that have Spanish as their first language or, are like me, and "don't want to lose it" again. We meet every week to have coffee or tea and to chat with each other. It is a great way to meet new people and to bring people together! Finally, en español, "Deseo hacer un viaje a Ecuador y las islas de Galapagos, y tambien, un viaje a Costa Rica con "Habitat for Humanity". Me gustaria hablar en su lengua."

I'm fluent in Spanish and I have always wanted to learn Portuguese. I tried out the trial version of Rocket Portuguese and found it fantastic and easy to follow. I like that there are both male and female voices. However, I found it a bit confusing because they seem to pronounce the same word differently. For example, the male voice Paulo pronounces "de onde" like "dze ondze", while the femal voice pronounces with a clear articulation of "de onde". Maybe it's the accent? Hope I can get a better sense of it from the rest of the course!

I absolutely love the Rocket way of learning. I've tried all the competitors, but nothing works as well (for me) than Rocket!

And, the price can't be beat. Basically, I'm paying $1 per hour of instruction.

I started with French, but now I'm moving on to Italian!

It is a good program, ease to follow. The revision lessons at the end are great to reinforce what I have just learned.

Rocket Italian is the best way to learn Italian hearing it helps improve your accent also

I'm 57 years old, I took 4 years of French in school, but have not maintained it. My family is planning a vacation to northern France soon, and I love listening to Rocket French on my 20-30 minute commute. I love the fact that learning a language keeps me 'in the moment', by necessity. I'm not driving into work after 20-30 minutes of negative reverie about my job! Rocket French is a fun and systematic way of learning French that has some fun and informative side notes on culture and other helpful hints. I would recommend it to others including you.
