Hello, Marie Claire is fantastic. I look forward to seeing her messages in my browser to learn something new every day she contacts me. I find
it very satisfying and exciting to be learning a new language and looking forward to putting it to good use in the future days. Many thanks for being my colleague and teacher. Learning with Rocket French is fantastic. continued success. Ray King. U.K.
After trying several Spanish courses in the past without much success, I tried Rocket Spanish. It proved to be the course that helped me the most. I especially like the hear it-say it feature. This is really good for someone with a hearing problems. They can hear what they are saying
and see if it is close to what it should be. The price is very reasonable.
The introductory lesson was very well done. The host and teacher have pleasant voices, speak clearly and intelligibly and seem enthusiastic. The instructions were clear and the method promotes retention of proper words and pronunciation. I enjoyed the lesson and look forward to improving my Italian vocabulary and pronunciation as we prepare for a visit to Italy next year. I think these lessons will enable me to learn Italian while exercising, a real “win win” as I get ready for lots of walking in the beautiful cities and towns of Italy (where I have no plans to attempt driving an automobile).
I started with the French course 10 days ago. I struggled to learn french in school but am finding this a much more pleasant and effective approach. Like the focus on spoken french with the gradual introduction of grammar rules. I found the lessons engaging and the right amount of information to absorb at one go - and the various supporting tools (dialogues. reviews, flashcards, etc). are all helpful in reinforcing the initial learning. I had to travel to Brussels and after a week of study I had the confidence to engage in basic dialogues in French - honestly! Compared to French language lessons I think it offers good value for money.
Only downsides are that only the lessons are downloadable and you need to be online to use other resources. Also if you don't have chrome a lot of the features like voice recognition are unavailable. No use of customer service - should be a N/A option on the star ratings.
Rocket Spanish and a cup of coffee has been the perfect way to start my day. My favorite feature is "Know It". Support has been very gracious correcting things I'm not sure about. When I travel, I've been using the new iPhone App so that I don't lose any of my skills.
The content of the course seems good through module 1. The voice recognition has some challenges at times. An example is even though I say the phrase and it is recorded for playback, the system will indicate that it did not get it and therefore cannot validate it. The nice playback feature in Windows is not available in Android.
I have tried learning languages years ago with books and tapes and more recently downloading files from Internet (Listening only, No text!) with mixed results. With Rocket Languages I sense that I am making better progress with more retention and importantly I am able to start thinking in German and not need to translate which is vital in achieving fluency.
Sehr gute arbeit Rocket languages!
Rocket language is, for me, a very great opportunity to learn the basics of another language. However, I think the pricings are a little bit high. I am 12 years old and am learning Korean because there is a boy band i like called BTS. BTS are from South Korea and so, speak Korean. I like the learning style of rocket Korean very much, but it is overpriced. I am , however, learning very fast on here and would love to continue learning using this site.
I love this program. It is way better than the other competitors and less expensive. the only thing is grammar sections. If they are enriched more this is a flawless program. Speech recognition and forum are two wonderful ideas. Anyway can you add Turkish language too? That is an important language.
I think more emphasize should be placed in Hangul! Its the foundation of the language and everything is so jumbled. Consonant, vowels should be separated and thought differently. I learned by watch children videos of sing alongs in Hangul. Like they make it so simple there. Its ok I guess... It needs more material to be concise. But good program
