Rocket Japanese is amazing. I love this course. The lessons are well planned out and easy to use. I like the progress that I'm making and am certain that I will be speaking conversational Japanese soon. Thank you Rocket Japanese!

I'm an engineer and reviewed many competing products like Pimsleur (too audio oriented), Rosetta Stone (no English explanations, just clicking on pictures), Duolingo (not sophisticated enough) and others and finally decided on Rocket Chinese. I was pleasantly surprised with this product because it explains everything I'm learning in English and has wonderful tests, flashcards, and other tools to help me learn. The first lesson started with Ni Hao which is what I expected, where as other applications did not. Highly recommend Rocket for learning any language.

I really like the manner that the sessions are presented as it provides excellent reinforcement of the material covered. Being a senior the repetition works well for me. I have been doing Rocket Spanish as well for 6 months and wanted to try French for fun as I had taken it in high school many years ago.
Excellent course material, covers all the reading/writing/listening and speaking components of learning a language. Progresses very smoothly and plenty of ways to brush up on older material with flashcards or listening and translating.

Bueno, it's strange that Rocket is asking me for a review when I am only using the trial lesson. However, I can say that after three years of struggling to learn Spanish and not getting very far, this feels right. I have used DuoLingo, Fluencia and Synergy Spanish in the past, as well as a mixture of discovered things like Youtube videos and SpanishDict. The best is Synergy Spanish, but this is like Synergy Spanish on steroids. The listening, the speaking, the explanations, and the repetition in each lesson really feels like it is right on for a good learning experience. I also love they they allow a free trial without demanding a credit card first. I absolutely abhor companies that do that and do not do business with them. The free trials allowed me to discover that I need to start at level 2, which I will buying shortly.
Very happy because it is easy for learn, i learn to pronounce better.
I used Pimsleur courses before. This is equally as good, but I am using exclusively in a car. The Pimsleur is better in a car as the lessons automatically come on to the next lesson and the program keeps track of where you are and Apple CarPlay controls work better than Rockets. The arocketvwoukd be better if it were seamless to a CarPlay experience. Also the review words should keep repeating in several lessons to make it easier to remember, rather than only one review time in the following lesson. Multiple repeats help sear it in my brain. For these reasons, Pimsleur works better for me.
Moderators Note: Thanks for the feedback, Ivan. You can use Rocket courses in a similar way by using the iOS app, downloading the Interactive Audio lessons to your app for offline usage, and then playing those sequentially. I hope that helps. All the best from the Rocket Languages team.
I think that it's pretty useful, but the voice recognition doesn't really work for the languages that I am learning.

It’s great. I have to listen a few times to take in but I'm old! It’s not so facile. I love the oral, audio, written all at the same time. The words stick. Cultural comments good. I have to get back to my lesson!
I have used Rosetta Stone and Berlitz in the past to become comfortable with Italian and German before trips. I found both of those much easier than Rocket. The English accent of the narrator makes it hard to follow, and the pace is very slow, which leads me to get distracted mid-lesson.
