Good course but not enough beans please add beans
This fits my comfort zone so far as I am not a natural language learner. I can go over the lessons many times at my own pace. Customer service was very good.
Helps me get more comfortable with speaking French which is something I need to work on. There are many language app that drills in vocab till your bored but Rocket is the first one where it records our speech and has a play back feature that helps you correct your pitch accent.
I like this because it helps me to learn different languages i've never learned before.
las herramientas son geniales, gracias por estas experiencias.
Rocket Language is an AMazing course. It is based on language-learning principles of spaced reviewing, chunking, and multiple exposure channels. I am enjoying it a lot.
Although I am progressing in the course, I don't like the fact that the introduction of new vocabulary (flashcards, etc.) is not accompanied by images and figures.
Images are a resource that helps a lot in memorizing new words/terms and it doesn't seem to be very difficult to include in the course, especially for the price charged for it.

Thank you for your feedback, Diogo! We understand that as a visual learner, having images alongside the flashcards might better support your learning. However, since our course caters to a wide range of learning styles and considering the numerous flashcards throughout the course, we cannot implement this right away. Please know that your suggestion has been noted, and in the meantime, we recommend checking out the Saved Vocab feature in the Tools section. This feature allows you to download a unique vocabulary list to which you can add your own images after downloading. All the best!
Prior to starting Rocket Japanese, I studied the Japanese language for 9 years. I learned how to read at a very high level, but unfortunately was never in a situation where I got to practice speaking and listening. Everything I took in college was textbook based and there was little to no actual conversations. In each chapter there would be a very short dialogue and then that was it, off to reading for the rest of the lesson. Where Rocket excels is that it focuses on audio and allows you to say the vocabulary. This is helping me with my listening skills. Now instead of reading the Japanese subtitles in variety shows, I can also understand more of the spoken language. This approach to learning has helped immensely. I only have a few minor gripes with the program: When writing the Kanji for the Kanji writing section, I'll write it perfect, yet the program marks it as bad and then won't even explain why. It does this at least 2 times every lesson. The repeating section can be near impossible at times. When it gets to the last three, they're expecting you to repeat back a sentence with 10 words in it. I honestly don't have the memorization skills to do that. It doesn't need to be that difficult.
It's a great course, if you have patience and time to go over it, again and again, for a full learning experience.

Thanks so much, Ori! We're right here cheering for you; learning a language can really take time and energy, but once you start chatting in Chinese, all that hard work will definitely pay off and elevate your skills to new heights!
The course is great. The content is better than most. The narrator Amy is slightly annoying, but the content makes up for this.
