Last spring I took a Level 1 German course at a local community college. I purchased Rocket Languages- German to help me hold onto what I had learned and to extend my learning. It is fabulous! I especially like that I can record myself and then playback the tutor followed immediately by me. This particular feature is far more helpful than a classroom. I just finished my first series of lessons and have "rocketed" to the second series. Great job Rocket Languages!! This 60 year old learner is greatly impressed!

At the begining i was impressed by the course, especially in the "intercative audio lessons" but in my opinion the grammar section "language and cultural lesson" it is a mess, sometimes very complicated without a clear path. It is weird and does not make really sense, there are not enough explanation concerning the rules and new words.

Overall, I have really enjoyed Rocket French so far! I like the combination of conversation pieces, vocabulary, and grammar lessons, instead of just all vocabulary and grammar, like when I learned in school. I absolutely love the reinforcements, as this really helps me in knowing what is actually sinking in and what I need to review again in more detail. What would be even better is a reinforcements section at the end of each module, for both the conversation lessons and for the language and culture lessons.

The auditory portion is great for me because this is what I struggle with the most, understanding spoken French and pronunciation. Unfortunately, the voice recognition can be hit and miss, especially for the one syllable words and sounds. I usually just skip over if after a few times it does not recognize what I am trying to say, knowing that I was pronouncing it pretty closely to the example.

If you take the time to really learn from this program, practice and repeat lessons, and not just rush through to finish, I highly recommend this program. Use all the components provided - there are so many ways that this program allows you to learn and practice. My vocab is a particular favorite extra I use.

Rocket French is great!!! Because of this website, I just might pass my French class with beyond flying colors!!! THANKS ROCKET LANGUAGES

I've been using the Rocket Spanish for 53 days, and while it has some good points, it's not an effective program for learning Spanish. The co-host, Mauricio, does not speak clearly enough for a beginner to understand, and there are some times when he is clearly not saying the sentence that is on the screen. I might recommend this program for business travelers, since that is mainly what the lessons are about (getting a hotel, booking a flight, ordering in a restaurant), but even then, you won't become fluent. You will just learn what you need to know to get around in that country. I've just requested a refund.

Rocket Languages will really help you with learning a new language, its nice and simple, and you can go at your own pace. The tests are really helpful and having the interactive audio lessons is easy as well. The site also has interesting things such as myvocab and you are able to highlight words for quicker use to see the definition.

It's a very good platform to learn different languages and the lessons are detailed! I've been using this since almost 3 years ago but I've recently managed to plan my time and continue learning Korean. My experience has been great and I would definitely recommend using rocket languages to my other friends. In fact, I already have! I'm planning to get more Korean lessons when I save up more money for the premium access! Can't wait to get there soon!

I purchased Rocket Arabic for trip I will be taking to Egypt that has been years in planning. I can tell you from experience that you could spend more on an Egyptian Arabic study program and get a lot less for your money. In the short time I've been using it I have been enormously impressed. Rocket Arabic is an excellent, five star language study program for the traveler looking to be more than the average tourist.

I am about ready to give up on you. I was going to do another lesson tonight, but when i saw my percentage completion on Module 1 and 2 was at 93% instead of the 100% that was there this morning. How do you expect anyone to complete anything if you keep adding new, and in my case, unnecessary, lessons to the areas already completed?

Am very spasmodic with my lessons but they are so easy to continue on from. Very well set up, good lesson structure, good activities. Great program. I WILL FINISH THIS!!!
