After stopping for a while, I recently picked up this course again, and wow, have I learned a lot in such a short period of time. Even though my native language (Mandarin/Cantonese) is more similar to Japanese than a lot of languages, the language is still quite difficult to learn. However, it was easy to start again because everything about this website was very easy, efficient, and satisfying to use. Overall, this is a very underrated language learning tool. :)

It is a great app to use for quick and easy learning of a new language. I wish, however, that the price was a little better for students.

Although the price may be a barrier for students, it is worth noting that unlike many other subscription based services we offer full lifetime access to the course and all updates for one payment (or six instalments). This allows you to use the course indefinitely. All the best with your Italian language-learning journey!

I used to be very impressed by rocketfrench, but there are a lot of things that I don't agree with anymore after almost two years of using it.
The good:
1. Listening to native speakers, repeating it, comparing it, having the scripted conversations - all that is good for pronunciation and I enjoy that.
2. there is a structure
The bad:
1. Updates that feel like beta-versions -> I did not pay to be a beta tester
2. The translation approach is outdated and will not lead to fluency.
3. The translation approach often does not make sense in the grammar chapters.
hints as to which version of multiple options to use are literal translations instead of contextual hints, that would lead to better understanding of the concepts underneath.
4. As in many other courses it is mostly very formal written french that you learn, sometimes some "real spoken french" is mixed in and that mix does not make much sense as it mixes different "registers" like formal, neutral, familiar french.
Most upsetting are the updates, that change the programm and not always for the better.
If it were always changes for the better, improving things and giving more options, I would be fine with that.
But sometimes things are being taken away and taking things away from customers is not a good idea.
That is not a problem for new customers, cause they are not missing anything.
But it is a problem for me as a user of almost two years and I don't have what I bought anymore.

While the visual design may look different, none of the content or core functionality of the activities you originally purchased has been removed or altered. The listening, pronunciation, and grammar lessons and structured progression you highlighted as beneficial remain fully intact!
Rocket Language is a great app for teaching all English skills. i enjoy form it.

Very happy with the course. It is interactive enough that it keeps my interest while learning. I'm near the beginning of the course however I am very pleased with what I've seen so far. Yes, the price could be cheaper but it's not much more expensive than DuoLingo or Babbel and it's once for a lifetime access.

Extremely satisfied, considering the amount of hours I have already poured into this it was more than worth the price.
I would purchase it again, and would purchase add-ons/expansions, and have already recommended it to others.
