I bought this program about 3 years ago and really never used it much and tried other programs. Now I see that it is actually the best out there to really learn to speak the language. There are no strange characters, only real people speaking and teaching the language the way people actually speak. Also, it is quite challenging and keeps me motivated. Thank you!

This course is really expensive compared to competitors - but, oh my, is it good! I am loving every minute of it so far. I am already having my first small conversations!

Based on the techniques of Sir Richard Burton the famous explorer and linguist that spoke 4o languages and 30 dialects. Rocket doesn't bore the student with the ceaseless insistence on Grammar which is simply non productive or helpful!

The lesson's best feature, for me, is the capability of downloading them and putting them on my mp3 player. I spend about 9 hours a week on my bicycle. I listen to these lessons while I'm riding. I repeat them, over and over again, until I am completely familiar. The lessons are well organized and pleasant. I am content with their learning style and method. Their portability makes them more valuable.

I like the thoughtful blend of conversations focused on a specific situation (e.g., buying a train ticket), reinforcement through hearing, speaking, and writing, and enough grammar to understand the rules, without being overwhelming. The best endorsement is that I do a lesson nearly every day. Right now I have a 20-day streak.
