I really like the audio lessons with the English explanation, it is so comprehensive. The additional phrases are really relevant to the lesson, a good extension to the audio. The testing is very helpful and helps to meter learning. Gracias. Joanne

I've learned way more than with other programs. I love how much opportunity there is to practice and review AND...you can control what you are studying and reviewing. Other programs will offer you 30 words you know to get maybe one or two you didn't and still not offer some of the others you hoped to review. With Rocket Italian there is much more conversational listening and speaking offered in ways that seem to me more sensible. By sensible, I mean in ways that seem to enable it to "stick" more effectively. Lots of repetition and reinforcement. Best of all, I am actually enjoying using this program. I highly recommend Rocket Italian (and I would imagine any Rocket Language) course!

This is a great course. I would recommend it to anyone desiring to learn Spanish. I really like the interactive conversation, which I can participate in. Also, hearing my own voice is Spanish helps me to improve upon my Spanish clarity. The test at the end of the lessons enforce your knowledge.

Portuguese is a very different language than English so very difficult to learn , but I am learning a little at a time . I like that I can repeat phrases over and over and record my own voice so that I can compare my pronunciation of words and compare them with the online tutor .

This is proving to be a very good way to learn French. I have looked at a couple of courses but genuinely believe this one is going to take me to a good level. The main advantage to this is that you can click a sentence to have it read again which other audio courses do not allow for.

Superb program that covers each of the language modalities clearly and thoroughly.

I highly recommend this program. It ingeniously utilizes audio, text, and quizzes to maximize your learning. Unlike other programs, it is designed for the human learning curve and teaches you the language that is ACTUALLY spoken rather than in theory correct. I am learning German and Spanish and I was surprised that Rocket Languages doesn't have a cookie-cutter approach like so many other programs do - the courses are drastically DIFFERENT! That's good because languages ARE different, and a cookie-cutter approach simply won't teach you anything. I feel closer to a native speaker now, with knowledge of not only the everyday version of the language, but also of the cultures. I've already recommend this program to two of my best friends, my aunt and my piano teacher, for French (did trials, but I have priorities), German and Spanish. Seriously, for this price ($100) it's a steal. Wait for post-registration sales (7 days usually, for $90 and free vocab cards), or Black Friday/Cyber Monday ($70, no vocab cards). But if you can't wait just by it at $100. You'll be happy.

Something like "Doctor Mauricio" being part of the review for a lesson is really dumb. That is not a difficult thing to learn. And in the video/audio at the start of the lesson, why not go over estoy de vacaciones a little more. Like how to pronounce the word. That has been the hardest and longest word that has not been broken down in all of the lessons so far. I wasn't reading along and I had no idea there was a 'de' in the sentence.
