Very monotonous and hard to follow material. I can't keep engaged in the material. Super boring content.

So much potential….but the play buttons in the app work sporadically. Records just fine and voice recognition is great. But I Have to reboot my iPad Air quite often to clear the issue. Note that The coin is flipped on the web site - which I tried hoping to address the play buttons in the app not working. Well - the play buttons work fine on the web site - but the voice record says “having trouble” on every single item. And I am, per the instructions, using safari and the red microphone is on (not crossed out or greyed out). As such - this tool can't really be used. Will try tomorrow - maybe a server issue. Ready to request full refund if issue(s) persist. Exasperating experience. May resort to old fashioned Pimsleur CDs to prepare for vacation to france in a few months.

not user friendly, no offline content, audio recordings rarely recognize speech, slow customer service, very dissapointed, I thought this was the best app on the market, for this quality, the app is very expensive, for less than 9USD you get this same content in other places

I bought this program to learn useful Japanese but it's not really helpful. The dialogue sets are more geared toward someone who speaks Japanese and not someone who needs to learn. As an example: there is a dialogue set about asking people if they speak Japanese, but not one that helps to you ask if they speak English or that YOU don't speak Japanese. It goes on from there. I've gotten very little actual useful phrases from this program and I'm upset I spent so much on it. My upcoming trip to Japan is not going to be helped by this program.

I am going to be honest here. First of all, it is way too expensive, you can get much more in courses offered by other sources. Secondly, it barely covers beginner grammar or lower intermediate but entirely skips the essential grammar which might be needed to understand the sentence full.
If you are a full beginner, you might feel overwhelmed with the sentences with no explanation and if you are an intermediate then everything just feels pointless.
Highly won't recommend it to anybody, I wasted my money. Please don't waste yours.

The speech recognition software is terrible. If it wants to give you a score from 0 to 100, I'm fine with that but to have to keep on repeating myself and yelling only to see "I didn't catch that try again" is more than frustrating. So I'm just skipping trying to talk into the mic for now. And my Google Chrome is updated. My mic is a very good one.

The Hear It Say It feature does not work but must be passed to progress to the next level, essentially making the entire program useless.

This program charged me 259.90 two times ,did not respond to my emails and I am not able to access the program.On Top of that they charged me another 49.90 for what I don’t know.
There is no number you can call. They are corrupt.
