It's truly disappointing that you omitted various clauses from your refund policy. For those using Apple Pay, if they wish to cancel their subscription, they're required to contact Apple? You haven't even attempted to facilitate the direct connection.

Waaaay too much garbage emails sent on a daily basis. Extremely annoying. Constant pestering to buy. Massively overpriced. Would not recommend.

As someone who's been using Rocket Japanese for years and generally liking it, I'm writing this review to express my frustration. AGAIN you have redesigned the app in a way that seriously hurts the functionality! Why do you keep doing this? (Especially with no option to switch back?). Why did you decide to make the kanji suddenly very small, forcing me to zoom in on phone? Makes the kanji lessons a huge pain! Change it back! Im getting tired of you guys constantly screwing up your own app!

However, please know that all our updates aim to improve the usability of the course and, therefore, your language learning experience. At first I thought that Rocket Japanese was a great course. However, I became very disappointed with the way they structure things. The conversations are very limited and the grammar is poorly explained. Japanese is a very structured and logical language and Rocket Japanese does a poor job of conveying the structure. I am overall very disappointed with the course.
I bought the entire Japanese course, yet Rocket continues to send me marketing and promotional emails telling me to buy their japanese course when I already have.

This is a review of Rocket Korean. I have found Rocket German Level 3 to be useful, and would recommend it, but I am very disappointed with Rocket Korean.
I am 71 and in the last few years I have learnt five European languages to a good conversational level. I began to learn Korean a few months ago and have used two well known audio courses, both of which I love, and I am working every day with an excellent app that specialises in Asian languages. So I was not a complete beginner when I started Rocket Korean, hoping it would help. Unfortunately, I have found it much too difficult, with too many new words introduced much too quickly with very little help and reinforcement.
If Rocket Korean had been my first attempt at language learning, I would have given up, believing that I was either too old, or not clever enough, since I find it impossible to retain any of the material covered in its lessons. Fortunately, from my experience with the other methods I know that I can learn languages, even Korean, if the material is presented in the right way.

Korean can be quite a tricky language to learn for English speakers and the Korean team have tried to structure the course in a way that makes sense for English speakers. They will take a look at these early lessons again to try and make them clearer for our learners.

why are there at least 60 vocab words for every single lesson. how am I supposed to do this

We know this may seem overwhelming at first, but the ethos of Rocket is to ensure you have all the information you need to fully comprehend the lesson in one place. The key is to break down the activities and lesson content into manageable chunks so you can truly retain what you're learning without getting bogged down by excessive information. Unable to get the mic working. Tried for hours and no luck. Followed all the instructions for Chrome and Windows 11. It only worked sporadically.
