What I liked: Grammar lessons and examples. The conversational lessons are generally good, but I thought that some were not really applicable to what I wanted to learn. For example, several focus on "workplace" conversations that don't seem particularly relevant.
What I don't like: The speech recognition program is terrible. I get the impression that Rocket Languages (1) didn't adequately test this program prior to incorporating it into the course, and (2) doesn't seem to be interested in trying to fix it.

The speech recognition module actively detracts from the utility of the course. Please bring back the older speech recognition program or fix this one.

The bottom line: Not recommended due to speech recognition issues.

Voice recognition is very very bad. Very bad user experience.

i find that the female speaker does not finish words and if is hard to duplicate what she is saying.
Like Bein she makes the n so soft if you repeat the way she says it, it will not register as right
When the male speaker says the same work , it is easier to duplicate

The audio recognition software is really bad. You can mumble anything and it will approve it which is pretty bad in such an audio focused lesson. But i like the setup of the program though and i like that i can favorite the words i have the most problem with to build up a collection of flashcards. I do think it's pretty expensive but I'm willing to bet on it being worth it.

I was super excited to get started and i did the first two lessons in the first day. The next day i woke up with the same excitement only to find out they accidentally removed my access to the course. I waited for five days for them fix it, with nothing but an whoopsie daisy excuse.

That whole experience definitely marred my honeymoon period with the app and severely hampered my excitement.

The difficulty jump from the standard content to the Survival Kit is way too extreme. It says 20mins, but it actually takes several hours to memorize almost 50 words. It's very unrealistic to expect someone to work through this in 20 mins.

Would have been a good app if the voice recognition is reliable and accurate. There are many times that it doesn't detect anything even if I am speaking loud. And yes, I've tried multiple devices and I have a good microphone.

The course has a good approach to use various methods to reinforce learning and make it practical and effective. With Rocket Language I'm learning and progressing toward language fluency. One big downside is the abysmal speech lesson functionality. Often you're marked as correct despite not saying the phrase accurately, completely, or even in the expected language. And you're given insufficient time to say phrases with more than ~7 words as it cuts off and marks you as correct. For the price these issues are unacceptable and must be resolved.

Enjoy learning it, Very good because you can always return to difficult parts. Had to stop for a while because of moving my home, but it was easy to pick up. From now on, I'll regularly continue. The target is learning the language. Unfortunately, my computer does not allow voice recording. I hope that this does not influence the study results.

I've been looking for an interactive program to teach me Spanish... and Rocket Languages fits the bill! It's easy to use, cheaper than the competition and fits my learning style. Can't ask for more!
