The Arabic course is unique in that it teaches colloquial Arabic which is more likely to be understood by the average person. I personally am using it to increase my vocabulary to supplement my MBA and classical Arabic usage. So overall the course is great and would be 5 star if the mobile app worked regularly. If they can fix that and keep it working regularly I will gladly update my review.

My first lesson was easy and a great first step towards mastering Spanish. My goal is to be able to converse with many of my neighbors and friends living in New Mexico. I plan to spend a couple of hours each day learning Spanish.

First time learning a new language on line. Alto of information but so far it is covered and presented nicely

Response from Rocket Languages

We're glad to hear you're enjoying the course, Sheri! Beginning to learn a new language online can certainly feel overwhelming, so remember that you can always post your questions in our Rocket Italian forum!

It's a well organized website with interesting features that helped making learning more fun and interesting. I can say that the content is suitable for anyone looking to learn about japanease culture and language. The excercises are also good so learners must take their time practicing if they want to improve their mastery level.

After a year of Duolingo, got really fed up of parrot fashion learning. Flash cards and the other elements are very good. Not so keen on the 'plays' and writing which I don't really need. Just conversational French please

I am currently learning arabic, and have bought a couple of books. One of them recommended this cours, and I am very happy with it. This course focuses on egyptian arabic, but one of my other courses, namely Pimsleur modern standard arabic is a bit different in some aspects. This can be a bit confusing.

Just starting out but seems to have very good interaction and structure. Particularly like the voice recognition so you can have a, somewhat, proper conversation.

I am really enjoying it. I feel like I am having those 'aha moments' which I never got taking french in school. The way this is presented makes far more sense that the classroom teaching that I experienced in Quebec. We knew how to say we were opening the door, window, talk about the weather, ask "what time it is", my name is and ask to go to the bathroom.

I am a bit competitive. I like pushing myself against others. Just having my own score is fairly meaningless to me as I do not really know what it means. I like moving up the leaderboard and it keeps me going.

I would like to be able to correct my written mistakes in real-time rather than redo the exercise. I would redo anyway I just like making the corrections as I am visual and I keep redoing the same mistakes over and over when I cannot correct.

I will be purchasing. I am doing the seven-day trial. I want to complete it first then I will buy. One thing that I believe that most of us think about when making the decision to purchase the online course (at least I do) is... will I really keep at it? That is why I am pushing through the seven days.

Overall a decent program. I listened to the audio for the most part. The games started out being fun, but ended up being a little simple and repetitive. There are two things I would appreciate:
1. Organized sets of rules for verb conjugations, prepositions, etc. I ended up with several sheets from my high school Spanish class, and even though this program was so much better overall, this is the one thing that would've helped.
2. Simple videos, readings, or audio that is understandable from the current lesson and lessons before. Even if it was something like "See Jack run" it would be helpful and informative for Spanish learning.

This was my first time with Rocket Languages. I enjoyed the first lesson. Tres bien! I will complete more lessons as time permits. I intend to apply what I learn to everyday situations. Learning a new language is very interesting. Au revoir.
