I studied with Rocket Italian for 18 months before taking a trip to Italy. Rocket's method of putting you on the spot to answer questions really helped, and I felt like I could think on my feet! My Italian wasn't perfect, but the lovely nonna who was our host spoke no English, and we were able to talk and even joke together!
A year later I returned to Italy without having studied or reviewed, and I feel like I did great. I'm certainly not fluent or quite conversational but I could ask questions and understand the answers, so I call that a win.
Now I'm on to Rocket Spanish! It very much has the same feel and format that I know I can be successful with. The host does come off a little more condescending than the Italian host did, but I'm only in module three and I'm already feeling confident about my Spanish. I do wish there was a Spain-focused version, as that is where I will be visiting.
I think it's such a great program, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Spanish or Italian.

A very good way to learn - multiple approaches (listening, writing, speaking) together with useful cultural commentary. One gets the most value by repeating the lessons (in my case, many times!).

It works well, a good structure. Needs a separate flash card section to go over vocab.

Fun and easy. The record feature is a plus. Nice app

Found out about it online that said it was the most effective out of the major online language learning tools. Only a little bit of the way through, but so far it's great. Also happy to support an NZ company!

I love it. I like to be able to listen to myself and repeat exercise to learn the lessons.

Rocket Language uses audio recognition which helps improve my pronunciation and my accent.

I like this program so far. Haven't needed customer service so can't comment on that. The combination of seeing, hearing, and saying, and writing is good!

Lots of practice with pronunciation and reinforcement of common phrases. Grammar is clearly explained. The mode of learning is well-paced with immediate applicability of the language in common everyday contexts. Motivating pedagogy.
