Rocket Spanish

I have used other courses and this is by far the best. It matches my goal of being able to have a conversation with real people. I was even surprised that on the app for iPhone I was able to record my voice and match it to a native speaker. I feel that the time I spend interacting with this course is time well spent.

The price is an added attraction. In one service for Spanish in just two months you would have spent more money. So far this is a bargain!

The Rocket approach to teaching a foreign language, improving conversational Korean in my case, makes the process a pleasure to follow. There is a great variety of subjects covered in different teaching ways, and I think the recording options are an excellent way to test your progress. My accent and confidence have improved and it makes me keen to use what I have learnt in public.

Rocket's approach also makes it so easy to go back and review any lesson/subject at any time, and the use of My Vocab and Notes means you can keep a permanent record of those words and phrases you find tricky to remember. I would recommend Rocket to anyone wishing to learn a new language or needing to take their knowledge of a language to a higher level.

Rocket German

I've been using Rocket German for a week and have made it through the first module. Overall I am really happy with the purchase, especially since I was able to buy it on sale. I really like that I'm able to hear words, phrases, sentences and then record and compare my pronunciation to the speaker. However, I have noticed that there are times when the voice recognition marks me poorly despite my playback recording sounding exactly like the speaker. Fortunately those instances are not the norm. A lot of phrases are thrown at you at times without much explanation, perhaps this gets better the farther you move along in the course. But as an example there are two sentences with an English translation of "would like" with different German expressions and there's no context that explains why you would use one over the other. Fortunately we live in an internet age and I am able to supplement my Rocket German with other resources. So far I am really enjoying the course and definitely feel like I'm getting a lot out of it particularly with regards to pronunciation.

The approach is highly conducive to remembering, and surpassing, knowledge gained from studying Spanish many years ago: the stress on speaking is critical. I've just finished lesson 3.1, and have to say I have only two peeves, one tiny, one larger. The tiny one: the instructors distinguish lentos (regular glasses) from gafas (sunglasses). This is a distinction I have never heard in Mexico: my Mexican friends always use gafas for glasses. Perhaps this is one of many regional variations, which is fine, but it should be emphasized. The larger peeve is about esposa and esposo. Considering that the US, Spain, many states in Mexico, etc., recognize same-sex marriage, it's grating to hear the instructor say that if you're a man you introduce your spouse as mi esposa, or a woman as mi esposo.

my eyes are, because of diabetis, failing on me.
Learning different languages makes life a lot better, since reading starts getting very difficult and listening is still fine.
I am not a great student but it is fun to understand persons from other parts of the world!

Rocket French method is easy and simple but as Italian I can better learn by focusing on the French words that most of the times are similar to Italian ones. Anyhow this rocket French explains and teaches me in English language and in this way I can even learn more English. Therefore I suggest this Rocket Version to the Italians in order that they can learn English and French as well.

I am on my third day of learning Japanese, and so far I am very satisfied with Rocket languages. Before I bought it I researched the best software for learning Japanese, and this was at the top of many lists. I am confident that I will become fluent in Japanese through Rocket Languages! If i were to say something constructive, it would be that I wish there was a written version of the audio lesson underneath each recording. I like to take notes while listening, and being about to visually see the lesson would make that easier.

I spent days considering which language learning program to purchase, reading reviews and even trying several programs out. After a lot of consideration, I decided on Rocket Spanish for one primary reason: this course is taught in a way that's comparable to a university level Spanish class. After several months of using this program, I already feel a hundred times more confident in my Spanish abilities. Honestly, it's the best program out there.

I tried to learn Italian multiple times over several years. Each time using products that taught vocabulary, but not really grammar or sentences. I like Rocket's approach of combining the different elements, and get you to speak as well. It really helps to learn the language.

this feels like it actually teaches you how to learn the language if you put for the effort and do what it instructs. ive tried other language learning sites and they feel like theyre just teaching you words while this site teachers you sentences and their structer.
