I have only had it one day and love it already. I'm looking forward to my journey.
I love Rocket Language. I have been searching for ways to learn Japanese for like literally forever! And when I came across Rocket Language, I could already write a paragraph in Hiragana, and read it! Rocket Language was like the best thing that could ever happen in my life.
Exceptional learning experience & tool to keep with you always.. I have learned Chinese in 2 days & Can't wait to Start a different language..I'm hooked
I researched many programs before my decision to buy Rocketlanguages and am very happy with my decision to go with this one. I really like all the reinforcement they offer from pronunciation, flash cards, spelling reinforcement, explanations of masculine and feminine usage, listening and responding to conversations and much more. It is thorough and complete in its instruction. I chose Spanish as I have many Hispanic friends to practice with and love visiting Central and South America. I have already recommended this course to several friends. They have a free trial too which i took advantage of and is a great offer to see if you are comfortable with the structure. I am completely satisfied.
So let me tell you something. I have chosen Spanish for my GCSE'S and I have sucked at languages for the 3 years before picking it so I really needed to get something useful to let me get up of my idiot ground. This platform is really useful. the interaction is fun and the audio is really interesting. I don't really write reviews but, once again, this platform is useful.
Right away I was very impressed with the amount of resources and depth of language learning Rocket offers. I have taken a few other language courses, and this one by far has exceeded anything I've used in the past. The price is remarkable considering the content and quality. I can't say enough good things about Rocket.
The Rocket Language program is great. I used their Chinese and Japanese courses before traveling. I'm now working with their Spanish program. Their conversations introduce useful conversational vocabulary and the supplemental grammar and culture lessons are valuable. I'm really impressed by their user forums which discuss a wide range of topics - I've appreciated the discussions around how words are used in different contexts.
I have started the second lesson in RS 3, La Pinata, and have become frustrated and discouraged. The Conversation part is OK even though I am getting tired with Mauricio, but the Extra Vocabulary which has no context as in the Conversation introduces too many new phrases and vocabulary many of which are not even related to the Conversation (79 in this part!). Instructionally fewer new words/phrases with a reasonable amount of repitition would be much better. In RS parts 1 and 2 it seems that the New Vocabulary was generally shorter and more related to the Conversation. In short, I am very disappointed! I star for every rating is even too generous.
Response from Rocket Languages
Response from Rocket Languages: Hi Larry - Level 3 of Rocket Spanish is an advanced course so there is a lot more Spanish phrases in it than Level 1 and Level 2. In saying that, we are embarking on a full review of the content of the entire course and will definitely take your comments into account.
Reviewed many language programs prior to purchasing rocket language program. By far rocket is the most comprehensive program. Truly enjoying the rocket experience. Gracias Sam Allen
Cannot say I am a motivated studier, especially in regards to new languages. I tried the competition's software and their immersion learning left me lost and confused. With Rocket Language I am starting out learning useful words and phrases and not stuck guessing how the word I am supposed to learn matches the picture as with the competition's software. The competitors version doesnt give me the English translation so I can solidify what I am learning. Hate that!
