Pronunciation can be tricky at the start, so it’s great to hear that the Rocket Record feature is helping you, Henry. You’re definitely on the right track—just keep going, and you’ll see steady progress!
What a great way to learn Spanish! The lessons are fun and so engaging that each makes me want to advance to the next one. This on-line course offers everything -- hearing the language spoken, reading it, writing it, speaking it, and even watching it being spoken (which is surprisingly helpful.) This 73-year-old is learning much faster than he could have imagined six decades ago in school. The course designers clearly know how to teach. Each lesson seems to offer the right amount of new words and concepts along with previous material. You can mark phrases as difficult or easy for future practice, or favorites for study. And for idioms (phrases that don't translate literally), there is a little "lit." button to press to show a literal translation -- a great learning aid. They seem to have thought of everything. I couldn't recommend this course more highly.

I have come to really like the Rocket Language courses. In order to learn I need to be challenged and this is what these courses do: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. I have come to recognize the benefit of the longer length of the lessons; repetition, repetition, repetition is how I learn. I am studying two languages now and hope to add several more in future years.
