Something like "Doctor Mauricio" being part of the review for a lesson is really dumb. That is not a difficult thing to learn. And in the video/audio at the start of the lesson, why not go over estoy de vacaciones a little more. Like how to pronounce the word. That has been the hardest and longest word that has not been broken down in all of the lessons so far. I wasn't reading along and I had no idea there was a 'de' in the sentence.

Enjoyable.
Balanced speak/hear/read/write (tilted toward speak/hear).
Good interface.
Feels like a complete tool: I think I can learn to speak Spanish quite well using Rocket without other resources (except, of course, Spanish-speaking friends to talk to.)
The speaking feedback needs work: usually too loose (terrible pronunciation gets 100%) with a few phrases, especially ones with numbers, almost impossible to get 100% every time they come up.
(There is no N/A choice on the above ratings; I have no experience with customer service so I would choose N/A if I could)

The course is well structured with good conversations & voice recognition so feedback is instant. It's great to be able to tune in & practice anytime, anywhere as regular, consistent practice is vital for learning any language, especially Chinese!

The best platform out there to learn languages. I tried many, different styles, different methods.
Moving to an other country, Rocket Chinese has been a excellent addition to talking to locals.
NOTE FOR VOICE RECOG. ISSUES : The voice recog. works just fine BUT, if you have any problem getting it to start on your phone when using the app, you need to install the Google package for speech recog. but you ALSO NEED "Speech Recognition & Synthesis" plug-in (by Google LLC). If you phone is still not authorizing it (for example mainland China phones or certain OS), go back to the Google Play page and make a search as if you wanted to speak STT. It will prompt you to allow speech recog. to operate on your apps.
