Mauricio tiene una excelente prononciacion. El habla suficiente despacio para bien asimilar las palabras y frases...Pero el acento de Amy es muy americana y marcada...Me imagino muy amigable, pero a la vez, tambien hay personas en su alrededor que hablan perfectamente su idioma.
En las lecciones 1,5 etc....hay varias faltas....ei Dr en soya ¿¿¿¿ Tambien en el sistema de audio, hay dificultades pues una vez que se registra el audio salen mal las frases siguientes...

I have been working with duolingo for about a year now and while this program has certainly helped to expand my vocabulary I did not see how it would help me to engage in any conversation. I am now working every day with the Rocket Spanish program and love the approach. I am now learning in a way that will allow me to learn things that I will be able to use in daily situations that I hope to encounter in my future travels.
All good, slowly learning but that is more down to my application rather than this great programme. I particularly the way the teaching materials are laid out the tips that are given throughout. THe audio lessons have really helped me get a grasp of understanding the spoken form.
It would be nice to separate the Hangul from the romanized version in order to better understand the writing system; however, my experience so far is satisfactory. It would also be a lot better to have a built in Hangul keyboard for the writing portion, I had to use another website for this purpose. Even with these issues, I quite enjoy Rocket Languages and will continue to use it for my Korean studies.
Response from Rocket Languages
I will add these suggestions to the product development wishlist! Thanks.
I have used Rocket French for several years. The dialogue is relevant and the reinforcement lessons help to make connections that aid memorization. However, the voice recognition is spotty and does not always work, and it takes a long time for it to register. When I first started using Rocket French there was a feature that actually matched your voice to the native French speaker... very cool, but that is no longer available. The feedback given for pronunciation is a bit arbitrary since you don't really know if it's the microphone or your pronunciation that is the problem. I have tried several different microphones, but the result is still inconsistent. For the second level, I wish they had kept the same speakers as in level one. Since I need to review the lessons from time-to-time, it can become a bit redundant, but I am going to try the travelogue sessions to mix it up. Overall, this is a good product for the price and I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about learning a new language.
Really GREAT product!
I am using Rocket French on an Apple Macbook Pro with the Google Chrome Browser.
I am really enjoying the method and I am learning at a fast pace. However, there are a few minor issues that would improve the experience :
Sometimes when I playback the recording of my speech it is distorted.
When the sentence spoken by Rocket is very fast, it sometimes does not recognise any part of my recorded speech if I repeat it at a slower pace.
The Flash Cards ratings allow you to put what you think is the rating - Very subjective and therefore of no real value.
I like everything so far on the trial membership, except for the "rating" task that forces you to rate each word of the flashcards. It's tedious and who knows how to categorize each word anyways? The modules are fun!
I really struggled to learn to speak German. So I tried a lot of different methods. Rocket German gave me a good initial foundation. It didn't help that much with the grammar though. After I learned more grammar I returned to Rocket German and went through the course again. It was really helpful then for learning colloquial phrases and improving my pronunciation. I'd say there's no easy way to learn German but to learn how to have a basic conversation in German, Rocket German is extremely useful.
Overall Rocket Italian is a pretty good system. You get exposed to the language in a variety of ways and have some explanation as to why a particular pattern exists.
It does have the problem that there is only one correct answer for each thing. This of course ignores the fact that many things can be said in slightly different ways. As an example the phrase "She is angry" technically can be said as either "Lei è arrabbiata" OR "È arrabbiata" however the only accepted answer is "È arrabbiata". In other places an answer is only accepted if it has a he/she indicator.
There are also numerous places where the English phrase refers to you plural but for some strange reason they have not realized that _every_ place they do that needs some kind of indicator that they mean you plural rather than you singular since English only has 'you'.
Overall the issues with Rocket Italian aren't that big but they make it feel more like you are memorizing lines in another language rather than learning another language. The dialogues are the worst for this as they slowly take away more of the words you are supposed to say but you have to say the phrase word for word to get it right even though there are times when you could get the same meaning across with slightly different words. (They really should package the dialogue portion so that it can be used by actors memorizing lines as that is what it does.)
I absolutely love Rocket Languages, or in my case Rocket Japanese! I’ve had an account since 2011 and I just love the way it enables you to actively practice speech even if you don’t have a person to practice with. Since learning Japanese to me is a hobby, it is something that gets put on hold more often than not, however whenever I want to get back into it I start with listening to Rocket Japanese audio lessons. It’s puts me right back in the action of the language, something that would be neither as easy nor as fun if I were just using a book. I do combine the Rocket course with a book for better grammar and more hands-on practice in addition to a Kanji book, as I prefer more exercises, but it would not go as smoothly without your lessons, which are enjoyable even after the so-manieth repeat. just want to add that I appreciate all the upgrades that you do :)
