I'm slowly learning basic French, and it's great. Rocket Languages allows me to rewind and rewind (and rewind again!) until I get it right. Then, I practice on my friends who are native French speakers. Rocket Languages actually gives you the terminology that is used by natives, which is why I'm doing better than if I had studied with another program. If you want to take your time and get it right on the first go, I recommend Rocket Languages.

Rocket Chinese makes learning fun. The writing modules are help in learning to recognize and write characters. The addition of the new modules that let me record myself and compare my speech to the ideal is a real help in getting the tones and pronunciation just right.

I have been searching for Rocket Latin American Spanish online for many months as I have listened to Mauricio in the past, many years ago and it is a great way to learn the language of your choice.
I love the fact that the language is in both English and Latin American Spanish from a teacher who is from Chile. A Latin American speaking country, which enables me to get the best from Rocket Spanish. Yet, still understand the language of my choice in both English and Spanish. I also had a quick response to my email concerning downloading the online course and am extremely pleased with my purchase. My whole family will be using this course to learn Latin American Spanish as we have a friend who's first language is Latin American Spanish and it will be so much fun to talk to him in his own language. I have undertaken several Spanish courses and I find Rocket to provide me with the best improvement in my Spanish in the quickest time. Being on-line I can go over sections many times to ensure that I completely understand. It allows me to learn at my own pace at times that are suitable to me given work and other commitments.

I highly recommend this program. It ingeniously utilizes audio, text, and quizzes to maximize your learning. Unlike other programs, it is designed for the human learning curve and teaches you the language that is ACTUALLY spoken rather than in theory correct. I am learning German and Spanish and I was surprised that Rocket Languages doesn't have a cookie-cutter approach like so many other programs do - the courses are drastically DIFFERENT! That's good because languages ARE different, and a cookie-cutter approach simply won't teach you anything. I feel closer to a native speaker now, with knowledge of not only the everyday version of the language, but also of the cultures. I've already recommend this program to two of my best friends, my aunt and my piano teacher, for French (did trials, but I have priorities), German and Spanish. Seriously, for this price ($100) it's a steal. Wait for post-registration sales (7 days usually, for $90 and free vocab cards), or Black Friday/Cyber Monday ($70, no vocab cards). But if you can't wait just by it at $100. You'll be happy.

good design of lessons and reviews. The built in tests are also important to provide feed back to assist in tracking and seeing progress.
The program really taught me how to speak Mandarin from day 1. The more lessons I complete, the more I want to practice and to take new lessons.

It's very interactive and easy to understand, though the initial directions were a little confusing--but only a little. Pronunciation is exact and (so far) easy to imitate. I wait until your speaker has finished so I can more accurately hear if I've mimicked him/her. And having the written Italian along with the pronunciation is helpful.

Amazing language course, highly recommended. It will take you step by step to learn the language. I am still in the beginning but I feel my progress. I recommend it to everyone interested in learning the language effectively and fast.

I really appreciate your style of teaching, because it's based on quality and effectiveness to the customer. Which should be commended because you didn't sacrifice those qualities for a scientifically unproven way of teaching.

Affordable compared to RS. Like not having to use discs and being able to use a tablet. Like the grammar explanations, but haven't yet found all of the verb tenses in Spanish premium. Admittedly though, I've been quite lazy and haven't used the program as much as I should. It's not a program that makes you can't wait to get back to it. You need to be self motivated. I suppose that's true of the others, too.
